Should You Pull for Robin?

Support

Robin is an ATK-scaling Harmony support. Her Skill raises the whole team's DMG, her Talent raises their CRIT DMG, and her Ultimate makes every teammate act immediately while she enters the Concerto state: the team gets an ATK buff, and every attack from an ally is followed by a hit of Physical DMG from Robin. If you want a Harmony support that fits into a lot of teams, or you play a Follow-up ATK team, she is well worth pulling.

She fits best in Follow-up ATK teams with characters like Feixiao or Topaz & Numby, because the more attacks your team lands, the more damage she deals and the faster she gets her Energy back. Outside those teams she still slots into plenty of lineups that want ATK and DMG buffs.

Memory of Chaos Outstanding Her Ultimate lets the whole team act right away, which adds turns and can pull allies in before a cycle runs out.
Pure Fiction Outstanding This mode is tight on time and actions, so you can fire her Ultimate as often as possible without waiting for the perfect moment.
Apocalyptic Shadow Outstanding Every ally attack brings Additional DMG from Robin and Energy for her, so the more often your team hits, the more you get out of her.
Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Top-tier attack buffs for follow-up attack characters
  • Advances the whole team's action by 100% when she uses her Ultimate
  • Crowd control immunity during Concerto
  • Deals a meaningful amount of damage herself
  • Skill Point positive
  • Simple to build

Cons

  • Her Ultimate is expensive at 160 Energy
  • Her Energy regeneration can be very inconsistent
  • A poor fit for auto battle, where she fires her Ultimate immediately and sometimes wastes the action advance

Best Robin Build Guide

Best Robin Build

Both the ATK buff Robin gives during Concerto and her own damage scale off her ATK, so ATK is the stat to stack. She doesn't need CRIT stats on her gear, just enough Energy and enough SPD to act first at the start of a battle.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Flowing Nightglow Flowing Nightglow Best
Her signature Light Cone and the best pick. The Energy Regeneration Rate helps with her 160-Energy Ultimate, the big ATK boost for Robin herself raises both her ATK buff and her Additional DMG, and the whole team gets a DMG buff while her Ultimate is active.
  • 2 But the Battle Isn't Over But the Battle Isn't Over Great
Also a very solid choice. It gives Energy Regeneration Rate and high base stats, boosts the DMG of the next ally to act after Robin uses her Skill, and restores Skill Points when she uses her Ultimate.
  • 3 For Tomorrow's Journey For Tomorrow's Journey Great
A 4-star event Light Cone. It raises her ATK and boosts her DMG when she uses her Ultimate, so it mostly helps her own damage during Concerto, with a small bump to the team ATK buff as well.
  • 4 Past Self in Mirror Past Self in Mirror Good
After Robin uses her Ultimate, the whole team deals more DMG. The team also gets some Energy every wave.
  • 5 Meshing Cogs Meshing Cogs Good
A 3-star built around Energy: Robin gets Energy whenever she attacks or gets hit, so her Ultimate comes back sooner. The trade-off is that you lose all the support effects and base stats of the other options.

Best Relics

1
The best option. Both sets give ATK, and the more ATK Robin has, the bigger her ATK buff and her damage during Concerto.
2
Also very good. You get both ATK and Physical DMG Boost, so her own damage goes up. The catch is that farming Champion of Streetwise Boxing is less efficient than other sets.
3
Boosts her Physical DMG and gives extra ATK, but the ATK has to stack up over time, so it builds slower.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
One of her two top picks. It gives Robin HP% so she's sturdier, plus an ATK buff for the whole team, which suits ATK-scaling teams. It needs enough SPD to activate, and 121 is enough.
2
Her other top pick. It gives Energy Regeneration Rate and advances Robin's action at the start of battle, so she buffs the team before anyone else moves and gets her Ultimate sooner.
3
Only raises Robin's own ATK, but that still makes her ATK buff and her damage during Concerto bigger.

Main Stats

  • BodyATK%
  • FeetATK% or SPD
  • Planar SphereATK% or Physical DMG Boost
  • Link RopeEnergy Regeneration Rate

Substats

  • 1ATK%
  • 2SPD (to the threshold)
  • 3HP% or DEF%

Go for ATK% on body and sphere. A Physical DMG Boost sphere also works, but ATK% comes first. ATK% feet are usually the better deal, because Robin runs on a fixed SPD during Concerto, so high SPD doesn't help her much. If you use a Planar Ornament set with a SPD requirement like Fleet of the Ageless, take SPD feet to be safe instead of hoping for SPD substats. Use an Energy Regeneration Rate rope, since her Ultimate costs a full 160 Energy.

ATK% is the most important substat, so get as much as you can. SPD only needs to be high enough for Robin to act first at the start of a battle, and past that you don't need more. After that, HP% or DEF% are both fine. Skip CRIT stats, since her damage during Concerto has fixed CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.

Stat Targets

  • ATK3500 to 4000
  • SPD121 or more
  • HP3200 or more
  • DEF800 or more
  • Energy Regeneration Rate19.44% or more

Skill Priority

Ultimate > Skill > Talent > Basic ATK

Her Ultimate is the most important part of her kit, and leveling it raises both the ATK buff and her damage during Concerto. Level her Skill next to raise the team DMG buff. Her Talent raises the team-wide CRIT DMG buff, so it comes after those two. Basic ATK goes last.

Trace Priority

Coloratura Cadenza, Impromptu Flourish, Sequential Passage (unlock all three early)

Coloratura Cadenza advances Robin's action by 25% when the battle begins, so she can use her Skill before your damage dealers move. Impromptu Flourish gives the whole team's Follow-up ATKs 25% more CRIT DMG while Concerto is active, which is huge for Follow-up ATK teams. Sequential Passage regenerates an extra 5 Energy every time she uses her Skill, so her Ultimate comes back faster.

Eidolon Priority

No Eidolons needed, E1 is the best stopping point

Robin plays well at E0. E1 gives the whole team 24% All-Type RES PEN while Concerto is active, which adds damage without needing to debuff enemies. E2 raises all allies' SPD by 16% during Concerto and adds 1 Energy to her Talent's Energy regen. E4 dispels Crowd Control debuffs from all allies when she uses her Ultimate and gives them 50% Effect RES during Concerto. E6 adds 450% CRIT DMG to the Additional DMG from her Ultimate, up to 8 times per Ultimate, and turns Robin into a real damage dealer.

Best Robin Teams

Feixiao Follow-up ATK Team

Replace Feixiao with: Dr. Ratio, Yunli, Clara, Himeko, Yanqing, Xueyi Replace Cipher with: Topaz & Numby, Pela

Follow-up ATK teams attack many times in a single turn, so Robin regenerates Energy quickly and deals a lot of extra damage during Concerto. Her ATK and CRIT DMG buffs make Feixiao and Cipher hit much harder, and Aventurine provides shields along with more buffs. You can swap Feixiao for another Follow-up ATK damage dealer, and if you pick Xueyi, bring Ruan Mei too. Topaz & Numby increase Follow-up ATK DMG, while Pela lowers the DEF of all enemies with her Ultimate.

ATK-Scaling Hypercarry Team

Replace Aglaea with: The Herta, Jingliu, Jing Yuan

This is just one example. Robin works with almost any ATK-scaling main DPS, such as The Herta, Jingliu or Jing Yuan, because her ATK, CRIT DMG and DMG buffs all help them. After her Ultimate the whole team acts right away, so Sunday can buff your main DPS again and they get to attack one more time.

Kafka DoT Team

Replace Black Swan with: Guinaifen, Luka

Robin buffs the team's ATK and DMG, and her Ultimate gives Kafka and Black Swan extra actions, so their DoT hits harder. Huohuo restores Energy for the whole team, which gets Robin's Ultimate back sooner, and adds more ATK on top. You can replace Black Swan with Guinaifen (Burn) or Luka (his Bleed gives Kafka DoTs to detonate).

Budget Team (All 4-Stars)

Robin is the only 5-star here. She raises the whole team's DMG and CRIT DMG. Herta has Follow-up ATKs, so she also gets the extra CRIT DMG while Robin is in Concerto, but any easy-to-get damage dealer can take her spot. Asta's SPD buff doesn't do much for Robin, but she gives Robin more ATK and speeds up the rest of the team. Natasha handles healing, and any other easy-to-get healer works too.

Best Teammates for Robin

Feixiao
Feixiao

Robin is Feixiao's best support: DMG and ATK buffs, extra CRIT DMG for Follow-up ATKs, Additional DMG on every hit, and a team-wide action advance. More action advances mean more Ultimates for the team over a fight.

Topaz & Numby
Topaz & Numby

Their constant Follow-up ATKs give Robin lots of Energy and trigger her Concerto damage much more often. Most of Topaz's damage comes from Follow-up ATKs, so she gets the full value of the CRIT DMG Robin gives to those attacks.

Sunday
Sunday

A very strong support duo. Robin advances the whole team so your main DPS can act, then Sunday buffs them again right after. Sunday advances characters and their summons, which means more attacks for Robin to gain Energy from, and if she's short on Energy he can use his Ultimate on her.

Aglaea
Aglaea

When Aglaea and her summon Garmentmaker attack together, it counts as 2 attacks and triggers Robin's Concerto damage twice. The two of them also attack separately and very fast, so Robin deals a lot of damage and keeps her Energy flowing.

Aventurine
Aventurine

His Follow-up ATKs trigger Robin's Additional DMG and give her Energy. Aventurine can spam Basic ATK to make up Skill Points while Robin is in Concerto, and he shields her without her needing to act.

Huohuo
Huohuo

Huohuo's Ultimate restores Energy for the whole team, which lets Robin chain her Ultimates with almost no downtime.

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

A go-to sustain for ATK-scaling teams. He shields the whole team, and Robin's team-wide ATK buff makes his shields much sturdier.

Dr. Ratio
Dr. Ratio

A Follow-up ATK damage dealer with very high single-target damage who can replace Feixiao. Your team needs someone who debuffs enemies so he can attack often.

Kafka
Kafka

Robin's ATK and DMG buffs make Kafka's DoT stronger, and her Ultimate gives Kafka extra turns.

Ashveil
Ashveil

A great fit when Ashveil plays Sub-DPS next to Feixiao. Don't pair Robin with a main DPS Ashveil, because Robin can't attack during Concerto and needs another ally who attacks steadily.

How to Play Robin

Skill and Talent: Buffs for the Whole Team

Her Skill, Pinion's Aria, increases DMG dealt by all allies for 3 turns. The duration only goes down at the start of Robin's own turn, so you don't have to keep recasting it, which saves Skill Points.

Her Talent, Tonal Resonance, raises all allies' CRIT DMG. On top of that, every time an ally attacks an enemy, Robin regenerates 2 Energy for herself, so she gains Energy even outside her own turn.

Ultimate: Everyone Acts Now, Robin Enters Concerto

Her Ultimate, Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique, costs 160 Energy. When she uses it, all other allies take action immediately and Robin enters the Concerto state. During Concerto, all allies' ATK goes up by an amount based on Robin's ATK plus a flat bonus. After every ally attack, Robin deals Additional Physical DMG once, with a fixed 100% CRIT Rate and a fixed 150% CRIT DMG.

In Concerto, Robin is immune to Crowd Control debuffs, but she can't take her turn or act. A Concerto countdown appears on the Action Order bar with its own fixed SPD of 90, and when its turn comes, Robin leaves Concerto and acts right away. Because she gets no turns during Concerto, her Skill buff doesn't tick down, so one cast lasts a very long time.

Timing Her Ultimate

The team-wide action advance gives the most value if you wait until the last character before Robin in the turn order has acted, then use her Ultimate. Advancing the team at the right moment can also let allies act before a cycle ends, giving you extra time to finish the fight.

In Pure Fiction, when you're short on time and actions, use her Ultimate as often as you can instead of waiting. Since she needs this kind of timing, avoid auto battle: it fires her Ultimate as soon as it's full and sometimes wastes the action advance.

Energy and SPD at the Start of a Fight

Robin gets Energy from several places: her Talent gives 2 Energy every time an ally attacks (even during Concerto), Sequential Passage adds 5 Energy each time she uses her Skill, and her Technique, Overture of Inebriation, gives 5 Energy at the start of each wave if you enter battle while its dimension is active. Thanks to Sequential Passage, it's worth using her Skill just for the Energy even when the buff doesn't need refreshing.

You want Robin to act first at the start of a battle so she can buff the team before anyone else moves. Coloratura Cadenza advances her action by 25%, and with 120 to 121 SPD on top of that she covers most teams, even ones with a 160 SPD Sparkle. If Robin still isn't moving first, add a bit more SPD.

Playstyle overview

Robin is a support character who raises her team’s damage through Concerto. When Concerto begins, she immediately advances the action of every ally. While Concerto is active, allies trigger Additional DMG after they attack. On top of that, after an ally attacks, Robin regenerates extra Energy.

Robin FAQ

Is Robin worth pulling?
Yes, if you want a Harmony support that works with many different damage dealers, or if you play a Follow-up ATK team. Robin performs well in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow.
Why doesn't Robin need CRIT stats?
The Additional DMG she deals during Concerto has a fixed 100% CRIT Rate and a fixed 150% CRIT DMG, so CRIT stats on her gear change nothing. Just stack ATK.
Does Robin need a lot of SPD?
Not much. During Concerto she runs on a fixed SPD of 90. You only need around 121 SPD so Robin acts first at the start of a battle and activates Planar Ornament sets with a SPD requirement. Put everything else into ATK.
Which Eidolon should I stop at?
Robin plays well without any Eidolons. If you want to spend, E1 is the best place to stop, since it gives the whole team All-Type RES PEN during Concerto. E4 is also very good thanks to the Crowd Control cleanse and the Effect RES boost for the team.
Which teams suit Robin best?
Follow-up ATK teams with characters like Feixiao, Topaz & Numby and Aventurine suit her best, because the more attacks the team makes, the more damage she deals and the faster she regains Energy. She also works well with ATK-scaling main DPS characters like Aglaea, and in Kafka and Black Swan DoT teams.
