“O, noble guest from afar. The wind brought me news of you along the golden threads. My name is Aglaea, the Dressmaster of Okhema and one of Amphoreus’ Chrysos Heirs. I hope we treat each other with honesty.”

Should You Pull for Aglaea?

Main DPS

Aglaea is a Lightning DPS on the Path of Remembrance who fights alongside her memosprite, Garmentmaker. Almost all of her power sits in the Supreme Stance state she enters after her Ultimate: she and Garmentmaker act extremely fast, and their ATK grows with their SPD. The price is a 350 Energy Ultimate, so to play her smoothly you need teammates who restore Energy and advance her turns.

She fits best if you already own Sunday, since he fixes most of her problems. If you already have a strong Lightning DPS like Acheron, or Jing Yuan paired with Sunday, you can think about skipping her.

Memory of Chaos Very strong This is where Aglaea does her best work of the three modes, especially when the team has someone to advance her turns and restore her Energy.
Pure Fiction Very strong Her attacks are Blast, so they hit one main target and the enemies next to it rather than the whole field.
Apocalyptic Shadow Very strong She still works fine here, but she does not stand out as much as she does in Memory of Chaos.
Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Her Ultimate advances her action by 100%
  • Easy to play
  • Excellent damage output
  • Saves Skill Points thanks to her enhanced Basic ATK
  • Her joint attacks trigger on-hit effects up to twice (including Robin's Ultimate)
  • Extremely strong self-buffs to SPD and ATK

Cons

  • An insanely expensive Ultimate at a full 350 Energy
  • Her damage outside the Ultimate is rather flat
  • Her best teammates are all premium characters
  • Leans heavily on Sunday for her best play (without him she is much weaker)
  • Eidolon 1 and her signature Light Cone both patch up several weaknesses and raise her ceiling

Best Aglaea Build Guide

Best Aglaea Build

Aglaea builds like a normal crit DPS. The difference is that you also have to care about Energy and SPD, because her Ultimate is very expensive and her ATK scales with her SPD.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Time Woven Into Gold Time Woven Into Gold Best
Her signature Light Cone and the best pick. It raises her base SPD, which makes the 160 SPD breakpoint much easier to reach. Every time Garmentmaker attacks she gains CRIT DMG, and at max stacks her Basic ATK DMG goes up too.
  • 2 Sweat Now, Cry Less Sweat Now, Cry Less Great
A 4-star that is well worth using. It gives CRIT Rate and more DMG when Garmentmaker deals DMG, and its bonuses work for both Aglaea and Garmentmaker with no downtime.
  • 3 Geniuses' Greetings Geniuses' Greetings Good
Raises ATK and boosts Basic ATK DMG after she uses her Ultimate. In strong teams, though, Aglaea gets advanced many times during one Ultimate, so the buff runs out quickly and loses a lot of its value.
  • 4 Reminiscence Reminiscence Good
A 3-star that adds DMG whenever Garmentmaker's turn starts. How good it is depends on how many times Aglaea and Garmentmaker can act before her Ultimate ends, so without Energy and turn advance from someone like Sunday it gets weaker.

Best Relics

1
The best set by a wide margin. It gives ATK, CRIT DMG and SPD, which helps Aglaea reach her higher SPD breakpoints. Garmentmaker attacks very often, so the effect is up almost constantly.
2
Also a good choice. It gives CRIT DMG and boosts her Basic ATK DMG.
3
An easy-to-get option that gives ATK, Basic ATK DMG and SPD. Only use it if its substats are as good or better, or if it helps Aglaea reach the SPD breakpoint you need.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
The top pick. Aglaea gets a big chunk of CRIT DMG just for having a summon out. Keep in mind that this extra CRIT DMG does not apply to Garmentmaker.
2
The second choice. With at least 70% CRIT Rate it boosts Aglaea's Basic ATK DMG, but that bonus does not apply to Garmentmaker.
3
Aglaea reaches the 160 SPD needed for this set easily. The catch is that only she gets the DMG bonus, not Garmentmaker.

Main Stats

  • BodyCRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
  • FeetSPD or ATK%
  • Planar SphereLightning DMG Boost
  • Link RopeEnergy Regeneration Rate or ATK%

Substats

  • 1SPD (up to the breakpoint you need)
  • 2CRIT Rate
  • 3CRIT DMG
  • 4ATK%

Take an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. Her Ultimate costs 350 Energy, and you want to use it again before Supreme Stance ends. Only switch to an ATK% rope if your team has both Sunday and Huohuo to cover her Energy. For the boots, SPD and ATK% are equally good.

Once you reach your SPD breakpoint, put everything into CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, which are equally valuable. Push CRIT Rate as close to 100% as you can, since Aglaea usually plays next to teammates who buff her CRIT DMG.

Stat Targets

  • SPD134/135, or 160/161 if you go higher
  • CRIT Rate80% to 100%, the closer to 100% the better
  • CRIT DMG100% to 140%
  • Energy Regeneration Rate119.4%

Skill Priority

Basic ATK = Ultimate = Memosprite Skill = Memosprite Talent > Talent > Skill

Her Basic ATK deals the most damage. A higher Ultimate level means a bigger SPD boost, and her ATK goes up with her SPD. The Memosprite Skill raises Garmentmaker's DMG, and the Memosprite Talent raises Garmentmaker's SPD. Her Talent increases her Additional DMG and Garmentmaker's Max HP. Leave her Skill for last, and you can skip it if you have a good sustain unit.

Trace Priority

The Myopic's Doom > Last Thread of Fate > The Speeding Sol

The Myopic's Doom turns Aglaea's and Garmentmaker's SPD into ATK while she is in Supreme Stance, so unlock it first. Last Thread of Fate keeps 1 SPD Boost stack when Garmentmaker disappears. The Speeding Sol raises her Energy to 50% at the start of battle if it is lower than that.

Eidolon Priority

E1 is the best value

E1 makes the enemy with Seam Stitch take 15% more DMG, and every time Aglaea or Garmentmaker attacks that target she regenerates an extra 20 Energy, which fixes her biggest problem. E2 lets both of them ignore 14% of the target's DEF per stack, up to 3 stacks. E4 raises the max SPD Boost stacks of the Memosprite Talent by 1, and after Aglaea attacks, Garmentmaker also gains a SPD Boost stack. E6 greatly increases their Joint ATK DMG once their SPD goes past 160/240/320.

Best Aglaea Teams

Best Team

Replace Robin • Summeretto with: Sunday, Robin Replace Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae with: Hyacine, Huohuo, Aventurine, Fu Xuan

Robin • Summeretto and Cyrene are Aglaea's two best supports thanks to their turn advance and DMG buffs. Cyrene instantly maxes out Garmentmaker's SPD stacks, so you do not have to wait for them to build, and she restores 70 Energy each time she uses her Ultimate on Aglaea. Robin • Summeretto's Ultimate advances Aglaea's turn and restores Energy based on a percentage, which suits her huge Energy pool. Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae shields the team and buffs Aglaea's ATK.

Sunday Team

Replace Robin • Summeretto with: Robin Replace Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae with: Huohuo

Sunday is the support who fits Aglaea best. His Ultimate gives her roughly 70 Energy each time, his Skill advances both Aglaea and Garmentmaker, and his buffs fully apply to both of them. With Sunday on the team, Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae also gets advanced alongside them, so he keeps refreshing his shields. If you put Huohuo in the sustain slot instead, the team has more Energy and Aglaea can switch to an ATK% rope.

Budget Team (All 4-Stars)

Replace Asta with: Tingyun, Pela Replace Lynx with: Gallagher

Trailblazer (Remembrance) is Aglaea's best teammate that needs no pulls: CRIT DMG buffs, True DMG and turn advance for her, and the Trailblazer works best at E2. Asta buffs ATK and SPD, while Lynx heals and cleanses the whole party. Swap Asta for Tingyun to get Energy and ATK, or for Pela to lower enemy DEF.

Best Teammates for Aglaea

Sunday
Sunday

Her best support by a wide margin. He restores her Energy, advances both Aglaea and Garmentmaker, and his buffs fully apply to both of them.

Cyrene
Cyrene

Instantly maxes out Garmentmaker's SPD stacks, and every time Cyrene uses her Ultimate on Aglaea, Aglaea regains 70 Energy.

Robin • Summeretto
Robin • Summeretto

Advances Aglaea's turn, restores Energy based on a percentage and gives her a huge ATK buff.

Robin
Robin

Her buffs fully apply to both Aglaea and Garmentmaker, and she advances the whole team. Each Joint ATK counts as two attacks, so the extra DMG from Robin's Ultimate triggers twice, and Robin also gets her Energy back faster.

Tribbie
Tribbie

Aglaea hits multiple targets very often, and each Joint ATK can count as attacking up to 6 targets, so she keeps triggering Tribbie's Additional DMG and Energy regeneration.

Trailblazer (Remembrance)
Trailblazer (Remembrance)

A reasonable stand-in if you are missing Sunday or Robin. The Trailblazer gives True DMG bonuses to both Aglaea and Garmentmaker and gives Aglaea an extra turn.

Huohuo
Huohuo

Her Ultimate restores Energy based on a percentage, which keeps Aglaea in Supreme Stance longer and gives her a chance to chain Ultimates back to back.

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

A strong shielder who also buffs Aglaea's ATK. With Sunday on the team he gets advanced alongside her and keeps refreshing his shields.

Bronya
Bronya

Advances Aglaea's turn with her Skill. Note that when she uses her Skill on Aglaea, Garmentmaker does not get advanced.

Aventurine
Aventurine

Shields the team and helps Aglaea deal more CRIT DMG.

How to Play Aglaea

Garmentmaker and Seam Stitch

Her Skill summons Garmentmaker, a memosprite with its own turn that can be attacked and affected by status effects. As soon as it is summoned, Garmentmaker acts right away. While Garmentmaker is on the field, Aglaea's attacks inflict Seam Stitch on the target, but only the most recently marked enemy keeps it. When Aglaea attacks an enemy with Seam Stitch, she deals extra Lightning Additional DMG, and on Garmentmaker's turn it automatically uses Thorned Snare, aiming for that enemy first. Every time Garmentmaker attacks an enemy with Seam Stitch it gains a SPD stack, up to 6 stacks. Whether Garmentmaker attacks or gets hit, it restores Energy to Aglaea.

Supreme Stance Is Where Aglaea Really Fights

Her Ultimate summons Garmentmaker (or restores its HP to max if it is already out), and Aglaea enters Supreme Stance and acts right away. In this state she also gains Garmentmaker's SPD Boost stacks, her Basic ATK becomes Slash by a Thousandfold Kiss, a Joint ATK where Aglaea and Garmentmaker attack together, and she cannot use her Skill. Thanks to The Myopic's Doom, the higher their SPD, the higher both of their ATK. The Joint ATK also counts as Garmentmaker attacking, so the SPD stacks build up fairly quickly.

Watch the Countdown to Keep Garmentmaker Around

When she enters Supreme Stance, a countdown with a fixed SPD of 100 appears on the Action Order. When the countdown's turn comes, Garmentmaker self-destructs, Aglaea loses Supreme Stance and Garmentmaker loses its SPD stacks (with Last Thread of Fate it keeps 1). When Garmentmaker disappears, Aglaea regenerates 20 Energy. If you use her Ultimate again before the countdown runs out, the countdown resets and Garmentmaker stays with all its SPD stacks.

Energy Is the Main Problem

Her Ultimate costs 350 Energy, and once Supreme Stance ends her damage drops a lot. She cannot build Energy fast enough on her own, so you really need teammates who restore Energy or advance her turns, like Sunday, Cyrene, Robin • Summeretto or Huohuo. The Speeding Sol raises her Energy to 50% at the start of battle if it is lower than that, and her Technique, Meteoric Sunder, regenerates Energy when the battle starts, deals Lightning DMG to all enemies and inflicts Seam Stitch on a random enemy.

Playstyle overview

Aglaea is a damage dealer who can summon the memosprite Garmentmaker to fight alongside her. Garmentmaker attacks enemies on its own and keeps raising its own SPD. After Aglaea uses her Ultimate, she can launch a Joint Attack together with Garmentmaker. In combat, their ATK rises as their SPD rises.

Aglaea FAQ

Is Aglaea worth pulling?
Yes, especially if you already have Sunday. Aglaea is one of the fastest DPS characters in the game, and her damage in Supreme Stance is very high with the right supports. If you already own Acheron, or Jing Yuan with Sunday, you can skip her.
What Light Cone should Aglaea use without her signature?
Sweat Now, Cry Less is the best option after her signature. Geniuses' Greetings or the 3-star Reminiscence also work. Instead of pulling for her signature Light Cone, it is better to get her E1, since it helps a lot with her Energy.
Which Eidolon should I stop at?
E1 is the most sensible place to stop: the enemy with Seam Stitch takes more DMG, and Aglaea regenerates extra Energy every time she hits that target.
Does Aglaea need Sunday?
No, but Sunday is the support who fits her best, and without him she is noticeably weaker. Without Sunday, use Cyrene, Robin • Summeretto or Robin, and if you are missing those too, Trailblazer (Remembrance) is a reasonable replacement.
Why use an Energy Regeneration Rate rope?
Her Ultimate costs 350 Energy, and you need to use it again before Supreme Stance ends to keep Garmentmaker and its SPD stacks. Only switch to ATK% if your team has both Sunday and Huohuo.
