Should You Pull for Natasha?

Healer

Natasha is a 4-star healer the story gives you for free. Her Skill heals one ally and adds healing over time, and her Ultimate heals the whole team for only 90 Energy. She can carry you through the early and mid game, but she clearly struggles once you reach endgame content.

She suits new players who don't have a healer yet. Once you have Lynx, Gallagher or a 5-star healer, Natasha should move to the bench.

Memory of Chaos Decent Her healing is lower and slower than other healers, so she has a hard time keeping the team up for long against enemies that hit hard.
Pure Fiction Weak Her Ultimate heals the whole team but offers nothing beyond the raw healing, so other sustain units easily outdo her.
Apocalyptic Shadow Decent Her Talent's 30% HP threshold is too strict when enemies keep throwing out AoE attacks.
Pros & Cons

Pros

  • A healer everybody has
  • Her Talent allows for a strong emergency heal
  • The cheapest Ultimate in the game
  • Carries you through the early and mid game

Cons

  • Her kit is too simple, so she falls off in the late game
  • Lower healing output than other healers
  • Her healing frequency is far too slow
  • Outclassed by almost every other sustain unit

Best Natasha Build Guide

Natasha Healer Build

Natasha's healing scales with her Max HP, so just stack HP and SPD on her. Her damage doesn't matter.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Night of Fright Night of Fright Best
Her best Light Cone. It raises her Energy Regeneration Rate, has its own healing effect that can save the team in a pinch, and gives allies a stacking ATK buff.
  • 2 Time Waits for No One Time Waits for No One Great
It boosts her HP and Outgoing Healing, so Natasha heals more. When allies attack, it also deals extra DMG to a random enemy. The downside is that it is a pure healing Light Cone with no buffs for the team.
  • 3 Warmth Shortens Cold Nights Warmth Shortens Cold Nights Great
A 4-star that raises her Max HP. Every time Natasha uses her Basic ATK or Skill, it heals her allies a little extra.
  • 4 Post-Op Conversation Post-Op Conversation Good
Gives a big chunk of Energy Regeneration Rate and boosts her Outgoing Healing when she uses her Ultimate. It is also an easy 4-star to get.
  • 5 Quid Pro Quo Quid Pro Quo Stopgap
It doesn't boost her healing. Instead, at the start of every turn it restores Energy to allies who are below 50% Energy, so it gets better the more often Natasha acts. Use it until you have something better.

Best Relics

1
The best set. It gives Natasha 12% SPD, and when she heals, the whole team gets 15% CRIT DMG.
2
The second choice, a SPD buff for the whole team. It fits because Natasha's Ultimate targets your allies. Time her Ultimate so the SPD buff stays on your key characters for as long as possible.
3
If you don't have a good 4-piece set yet, mix these two 2-piece bonuses. Natasha gets extra SPD, so she acts more often and heals more.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
Raises Natasha's Max HP, and if she reaches 120 SPD the whole team gets ATK%. Good for teams with an ATK-scaling damage dealer. 120 SPD is easy to reach with SPD boots.
2
Gives SPD and Outgoing Healing. Pick this one when your team needs Natasha to heal as much as possible.
3
Raises the whole team's CRIT DMG, but Natasha needs at least 30% Effect RES to turn it on. If you want this set, hunt for Effect RES substats.

Main Stats

  • BodyOutgoing Healing Boost or HP%
  • FeetSPD
  • Planar SphereHP%
  • Link RopeEnergy Regeneration Rate or HP%

Substats

  • 1SPD
  • 2HP%
  • 3Effect RES

Outgoing Healing Boost or HP% both work on the body. SPD boots let Natasha act more often. An Energy Regeneration Rate rope gets her Ultimate up more often, while HP% makes her heal more and survive better, so either rope is fine.

SPD lets Natasha heal more often, and HP% raises her healing and makes her tankier. Effect RES comes after those, and you need it if you use Broken Keel.

Stat Targets

  • HP5000 or more, ideally 5200 to 6100
  • SPD134 or more, higher breakpoints are 143 and 160
  • DEF800 to 1000 or more

Skill Priority

Ultimate = Skill > Talent > Basic ATK

Her Ultimate heals the whole team and her Skill heals one ally and cleanses debuffs in emergencies, so level these two first. Her Talent adds to the healing of both. Her Basic ATK is only there to generate Skill Points, and she doesn't need to deal damage, so it goes last.

Trace Priority

Soothe > Recuperation > Healer

Soothe lets her Skill remove 1 debuff from an ally. Recuperation extends the Skill's continuous healing by 1 turn, to 3 turns. Healer raises her Outgoing Healing by 10%.

Eidolon Priority

E4 is the most useful

E1 lets Natasha heal herself once per battle after being attacked while at 30% HP or lower, which saves a Skill Point you would have spent on her. E2 gives 1 turn of continuous healing to allies at 30% HP or lower when she uses her Ultimate. E4 gives her 5 extra Energy each time she is attacked, so her Ultimate charges faster. Still, Eidolons don't fix her main weakness, so don't expect too much from them.

Best Natasha Teams

Team with Kafka, Black Swan and Hysilens

Natasha is the healer here. Use her Ultimate to bring everyone's HP back up after a big enemy attack, and save her Skill for an ally who is low on HP or has a debuff. Some players do run this team, but very few, so treat it as an option for when you don't have a better healer yet.

Team with Sparxie, Tribbie and Yao Guang

Another rare team. Natasha handles the healing so the other three can attack without worrying. Keep a few Skill Points for her, because her Skill costs a point and only heals one ally.

Best Teammates for Natasha

Trailblazer (Preservation)
Trailblazer (Preservation)

Shields help allies survive longer at low HP, which is exactly when Natasha's Talent boosts her healing. In return, Natasha keeps the Trailblazer alive while the Trailblazer taunts enemies. The catch is that with two sustain units, the other two members have to handle all the damage.

Clara
Clara

Clara draws enemy attacks onto herself and takes a lot of damage, and Natasha helps keep her alive.

Dan Heng
Dan Heng

Both Natasha's Skill and Ultimate can trigger Dan Heng's passive, which gives his attacks Wind RES PEN so he deals more Wind DMG.

How to Play Natasha

Skill: Heal One Ally and Cleanse a Debuff

Love, Heal, and Choose heals one ally right away, then heals them again at the start of each of their turns for 2 turns (3 turns with Recuperation). With Soothe, the Skill also removes 1 debuff. Keep in mind that most of the healing is in the continuous part, so it can arrive a little late. The Skill also costs a Skill Point and only heals one ally, so using it to heal the whole team gets very expensive.

Ultimate: Team Heal for Only 90 Energy

Gift of Rebirth heals all allies for a large amount based on Natasha's Max HP. It costs only 90 Energy, the lowest in the game, so you can use it fairly often. Fire it right after an enemy hits your whole team hard to bring everyone's HP back up.

A Strong Talent That Is Hard to Use

Innervation greatly increases her Outgoing Healing when the ally she heals is at 30% HP or lower, and this works on continuous healing too. The problem is that this HP level is already very dangerous, and allies usually drop that low during the enemy's turn, so you often have to hold her Ultimate to save someone. Pairing her with Trailblazer (Preservation) helps, since shields let allies survive longer at low HP.

Use Her Technique Before Battle

Hypnosis Research attacks the enemy immediately. After entering battle, Natasha deals Physical DMG to a random enemy and has a 100% base chance to Weaken all enemies, so they deal 30% less DMG to your team for 1 turn.

Quick Tips

  • If you don't have a healer yet, build Natasha, she makes the early and mid game a lot smoother.
  • Once you have Lynx or Gallagher, move your materials to them, since both heal better than Natasha.
  • In hard content, keep a few Skill Points for Natasha, because she needs her Skill to save low-HP allies and remove debuffs.
  • Level Natasha's Basic ATK last and put materials into her Ultimate and Skill first.
  • Use her Technique before entering battle so enemies start Weakened and your team takes less damage at the start.

Natasha FAQ

Is Natasha worth building?
Yes, if you don't have any other healer. She keeps the team alive well enough through the early and mid game. In endgame content, though, almost every other sustain unit beats her, so don't pour too many resources into her.
Is Natasha free?
Yes. The story gives you Natasha for free, just as the game's difficulty begins to climb. For many players she is their first healer.
Who should replace Natasha?
Lynx is almost a direct upgrade over Natasha, and as a 4-star she is easy to get. Gallagher is even better and is one of the strongest 4-star sustain units. 5-star healers like Bailu far surpass Natasha.
Which 4-star Light Cone should Natasha use?
Warmth Shortens Cold Nights is a very good 4-star pick, since it raises her Max HP and adds extra healing for allies. Post-Op Conversation is also fine thanks to its large Energy Regeneration Rate bonus.
How far should I go with Natasha's Eidolons?
E4 is the most useful since it charges her Ultimate faster. Eidolons don't change much about her strength, though, so you don't need to worry about them.
