Sawblade Tuning
[Single Target]Deals Fire DMG equal to 140% of Himeko’s ATK to one enemy.
“Alright, crew! This world is the target of our next trailblazing expedition!”
Himeko is a Fire DPS built for AoE damage. Every time an enemy's Weakness is Broken she gains a point of Charge, and once she has 3, the next ally attack sets off a Follow-up ATK that hits every enemy on the field. She clears big groups of small enemies very fast, but her single-target damage is pretty underwhelming.
Great for you if you play a lot of Pure Fiction or just want someone who wipes waves of enemies. If you mostly need a unit to take down a lone boss, put your resources somewhere else first.
This is the classic DPS build. Himeko wants the same three stats as any damage dealer: ATK, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.

Body: CRIT Rate first, CRIT DMG works too. Feet: SPD or ATK% are both fine. Go SPD if you want to reach 135 for Firmament Frontline: Glamoth and two turns in the first cycle, otherwise take ATK%. Sphere: Fire DMG Boost first, ATK% as the backup. Rope: ATK%.
Aim for a 1:2 ratio, so 2% CRIT DMG for every 1% CRIT Rate. For SPD, try to land exactly on the breakpoint you picked.
Her Ultimate is her main source of AoE damage, and you use her Skill almost every turn to charge the Ultimate faster, so level these two first in either order. Her Talent raises her Follow-up ATK damage, so it comes next. Basic ATK is mostly there to recover Skill Points, so it goes last.
Unlock all three early. Starfire gives a 50% base chance to inflict Burn, and Magma makes her Skill deal 20% more DMG to Burned enemies, so these two work together. Benchmark adds 15% CRIT Rate while her HP is at 80% or higher.
Himeko is a standard 5-star, so her Eidolons pile up over time without you having to chase them. E4 gives her 1 extra point of Charge when her Skill inflicts Weakness Break, so her Follow-up ATK comes out more often, which helps a lot in Pure Fiction. E6 makes her Ultimate deal DMG 2 extra times. E1 is situational: if she plays with a buffer, watch out that Himeko doesn't end up faster than her supports.
Himeko can also run as a Super Break DPS, and she's very good at it against Fire-weak enemies. This build needs a lot of Break Effect plus supports like Trailblazer (Harmony), Ruan Mei or Fugue to get the most Super Break DMG.
After the Charmony Fall
Best
Rope goes Break Effect, since this build needs a lot of it. Feet take SPD, Sphere takes Fire DMG Boost, and Body takes CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG.
Stack Break Effect and SPD first. CRIT matters less here, but still try to reach at least 50% CRIT Rate for a bit of extra critical damage.
Topaz & Numby boosts Himeko's Follow-up ATK DMG and covers her weak single-target damage. Robin buffs the Follow-up ATK DMG of both Himeko and Topaz, and her Ultimate adds a big chunk of ATK. Aventurine keeps the whole team shielded, which helps Himeko stay at 80% HP or higher to keep the Benchmark bonus.
This team shines in Pure Fiction and in farming. Whenever Himeko or Herta breaks an enemy's Weakness, Himeko gains Charge toward her Follow-up ATK. When an enemy drops below 50% HP, Herta fires off her own Follow-up ATK, so the two keep setting each other off.
This team runs on Himeko's Follow-up ATK and Fugue's Talent. The extra Toughness bar from Fugue's Talent also counts toward Himeko's Charge when it gets broken, so she launches her Follow-up ATK almost nonstop. Ruan Mei raises Break efficiency and Break DMG. Lingsha heals with her Follow-up ATK, and her Ultimate applies a debuff that makes enemies take more Break DMG.
Apart from Himeko, this team only uses 4-stars and the Trailblazer. Asta raises the damage of both Himeko and Trailblazer (Preservation), the Trailblazer taunts enemies and puts small shields on the whole team, and Lynx heals to keep everyone alive.
Boosts Himeko's Follow-up ATK DMG and deals heavy single-target damage, covering exactly where Himeko falls short. Together they make a mono-Fire team.
Gives a 100% Action Advance, her Ultimate adds a huge ATK% buff, and she also raises Follow-up ATK DMG.
Good buffs for Himeko in both CRIT and Super Break teams: more DMG, better Weakness Break efficiency so her Follow-up ATK comes faster, and RES PEN from her Ultimate.
Builds Himeko's Charge extremely fast, adds Super Break DMG, and lets her deal with enemies that aren't weak to Fire, though only at 50% efficiency.
Best in Pure Fiction. Herta's Follow-up ATK triggers Himeko's, and Himeko's can trigger Herta's again, creating a nonstop loop.
Keeps the whole team shielded, and his Follow-up ATK chips away a lot of Toughness, most of all when there's only one enemy.
Boosts Fire DMG just by being in the party, and also gives Himeko ATK and SPD.
The Trailblazer's Ultimate enables Super Break DMG, which opens the door to Himeko's Break build.
Can implant a Fire Weakness on enemies that don't have one and lowers DEF, a good fit for Super Break teams.
Hits all enemies, so she breaks Fire-weak enemies easily, and she heals while making enemies take more Break DMG.
Her Talent, Victory Rush, is the core of her kit. Each time an enemy is inflicted with Weakness Break, Himeko gains 1 point of Charge, up to 3, and she starts every battle with 1 point already. Once she's fully Charged, the next attack from any ally makes her immediately launch a Follow-up ATK that deals Fire DMG to all enemies. That's why the whole team should hit the enemies' Weaknesses: the more Toughness damage everyone deals, the more often she attacks.
Her Ultimate, Heavenly Flare, hits all enemies, and Himeko regenerates 5 extra Energy for each enemy it defeats. Against weak enemies that keep spawning, or enemies that call in reinforcements, she can fire it off again and again. That makes her a great fit for Pure Fiction.
Her Skill, Molten Detonation, only hits one main target and the enemies next to it. In exchange, the main target takes more Toughness damage, which helps break Weaknesses quickly to build Charge. Use her Skill often to charge her Ultimate faster.
Her Trace Benchmark adds 15% CRIT Rate while Himeko's HP is at 80% or higher. Bring a Shielder or Healer and clean up debuffs in time so she keeps that CRIT bonus.
Deals Fire DMG equal to 140% of Himeko’s ATK to one enemy.
Deals Fire DMG equal to 250% of Himeko’s ATK to one designated enemy and Fire DMG equal to 100% of Himeko’s ATK to enemies adjacent to it.
Deals Fire DMG equal to 276% of Himeko’s ATK to all enemies. Himeko regenerates 5 extra Energy for each enemy defeated.
When an enemy target is inflicted with Weakness Break, Himeko gains 1 point of Charge (max 3 points).
If Himeko is fully Charged when an ally target performs an attack, Himeko immediately performs 1 Follow-Up ATK and deals Fire DMG equal to 175% of her ATK to all enemies, consuming all Charge points.
At the start of the battle, Himeko gains 1 point of Charge.
After using Technique, creates a Special Dimension that lasts for 15 second(s). After entering battle with enemies in the Special Dimension, there is a 100% base chance to increase Fire DMG taken by enemies by 10% for 2 turn(s). Only 1 Dimension Effect created by allies can exist at the same time.
After “Victory Rush” is triggered, Himeko’s SPD increases by 20% for 2 turn(s).
