Privacy Policy

Honkai Builds respects your privacy. This page explains how we collect, use and protect your data when you visit the website.

Who we are

Website address: https://honkai-builds.com. For any privacy question, contact us by email at [email protected].

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, together with your IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to display your avatar. The Gravatar privacy policy is here: automattic.com/privacy.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), because visitors can download them and extract that location data.

Cookies

When you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email and website in cookies so you do not have to type them again next time; these cookies last one year. The login page creates a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies, and it is removed when you close the browser.

When you log in, some cookies store your login details and your screen display choices. Login cookies expire after 2 days (or 2 weeks if you tick “Remember Me”), and display option cookies last one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles may include embedded content (videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that website directly, and those sites may collect data, use cookies or track your interaction.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. Data is only processed through the technical services needed to run the website, for example spam protection and the CDN. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so the system can recognize and approve your follow-up comments automatically. For registered users, we store the personal information in their profile; you can view, edit or delete it at any time, except the username.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase that data. This does not include data we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. The website uses Cloudflare as its CDN and security layer, so some technical data (IP address, requests) may pass through Cloudflare infrastructure in order to serve and protect the site.
