[Single Target]Deals Quantum DMG equal to 70% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP to one designated enemy.
“Knowledge exchanged with pain.”
Fu Xuan is a Preservation character who doesn't create Shields. Instead, she keeps the team alive by lowering the DMG everyone takes and soaking up most of the DMG aimed at her teammates. Her Skill also adds Max HP and CRIT Rate, so she protects the team and helps your damage dealer hit harder at the same time. If you need a sustain you can rely on for a long time, Fu Xuan is well worth considering.
She fits best with CRIT-based damage dealers, since her Skill gives CRIT Rate to the whole team. Keep in mind that Fu Xuan needs her abilities leveled and a lot of HP before she reaches her full strength, so be ready to invest in her.
Fu Xuan's Basic ATK and Ultimate deal DMG based on her Max HP, and she has the highest base HP in the game. So stack HP, add some DEF to take less damage, then raise SPD until you hit a breakpoint.

Go for HP% on Body and Planar Sphere. Don't use more than 1 piece with a DEF% main stat, you get more out of hunting DEF% in the substats. An Energy Regeneration Rate Rope lets Fu Xuan use her Ultimate more often, which gives her extra trigger counts for her Talent's self-heal. If you don't have a good one yet, an HP% Rope works too.
HP% and SPD matter most, and SPD should go up to the 121 or 134 breakpoints. DEF% lowers the DMG Fu Xuan takes, both the hits she takes directly and the DMG she absorbs for her teammates. Effect RES helps her resist debuffs and reach the 30% she needs for Broken Keel.
Level her Skill and Talent first, in whichever order you like. Leveling her Skill makes the Max HP and CRIT Rate buff stronger, and leveling her Talent gives the team more DMG reduction and Fu Xuan more self-healing. Her Ultimate and Basic ATK only add damage, and Fu Xuan isn't your main damage dealer, so they can wait.
Taiyi, the Macrocosmic gives her 20 extra Energy whenever you use her Skill while Matrix of Prescience is still active, so refreshing the Matrix at the right time gets her Ultimate up much faster. Dunjia, the Metamystic makes her Ultimate heal her allies for 5% of Fu Xuan's Max HP plus 133. Liuren, the Sexagenary blocks Crowd Control debuffs for the whole team once each time you activate Matrix of Prescience.
E1 gives everyone with the Knowledge effect 30% more CRIT DMG, and it is a good place to stop if you want the most out of Fu Xuan. With E2, allies struck by a killing blow while Matrix of Prescience is active don't go down and instead restore 70% of their own Max HP, once per battle, but a well-built Fu Xuan already keeps the team alive so it isn't really needed. E4 gives her 5 Energy whenever an ally under Matrix of Prescience is attacked. E6 adds a lot of DMG to her Ultimate based on the HP the team has lost, but it doesn't turn her into a real damage dealer.
Fu Xuan can protect the whole team on her own, and her Skill also gives Seele CRIT Rate. Bronya, Yukong or Pela can take the place of either support. If the enemies hit too hard, swap one support for a healer to play it safe.
This team needs Silver Wolf because she can implant a Quantum Weakness on any enemy, and with everyone on the team being Quantum, you don't have to worry about enemies with the wrong Weakness. Qingque can replace Seele, and when she is heavily invested she deals a lot of DMG, especially to enemies weak to Quantum.
Seele needs CRIT Rate, and that is exactly what Fu Xuan gives her. Fu Xuan also blocks a Crowd Control debuff once, which keeps Seele's pace from slowing down.
Acheron wants the CRIT Rate Fu Xuan provides. With Trend of the Universal Market, Fu Xuan applies an extra debuff every time she is hit, which gives Acheron more Slashed Dream.
She can implant a Quantum Weakness on any enemy, which makes her a must for the Mono-Quantum team.
Bronya boosts the team's CRIT DMG and hands your damage dealer extra turns. Add Fu Xuan's CRIT Rate on top and CRIT Hits land consistently.
Yukong's CRIT buffs stack nicely with the CRIT Rate from Fu Xuan's Skill.
Fu Xuan is light on Skill Points since her Skill isn't needed every turn, which leaves Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae free to spend lots of them.
Sushang hits hard against single targets, so the CRIT Rate from Fu Xuan's buff pays off well for her.
Can replace the damage dealer in the Mono-Quantum team. When heavily invested she deals a lot of DMG, especially to enemies weak to Quantum.
A 4-star who lowers all enemies' DEF with her Ultimate and can take the place of a support.
The 4-star damage dealer for the budget team. Fu Xuan's CRIT Rate gives Dan Heng a better chance to slow enemies down.
Fu Xuan's Skill, Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts, activates Matrix of Prescience for 3 turns. During that time, her teammates Distribute 65% of the DMG they receive to Fu Xuan (before any Shields absorb it), so they only take the small part that is left. The DMG Fu Xuan takes this way is still lowered by her DEF and by DMG reduction effects. Everyone under the Matrix also gets the Knowledge effect, which raises their Max HP based on Fu Xuan's Max HP and increases their CRIT Rate. If Fu Xuan is knocked down, the Matrix goes away too, so don't let her HP run low.
The basic rotation is Skill, then 2 Basic ATKs, then repeat. This way Fu Xuan refreshes Matrix of Prescience right before it ends, picks up 20 extra Energy from her Trace Taiyi, the Macrocosmic, and leaves spare Skill Points for her teammates. If you lose track of the turns, look for the purple star on the ground: when it starts to fade, use her Skill. If your team has Skill Points to spare, you can refresh the Matrix earlier to gain more Energy or to reset the Crowd Control block before the enemy's turn.
As long as Fu Xuan is still in battle, the whole team has Misfortune Avoidance and takes less DMG. When her HP falls to 50% or less, her Talent Bleak Breeds Bliss restores a large part of the HP she is missing, but it doesn't trigger if she takes a killing blow. She starts with 1 trigger count, can hold up to 2, and gains 1 more each time she uses her Ultimate. Her Ultimate costs 135 Energy, which is quite a lot, so you need an Energy Regeneration Rate Rope and well-timed Skills to use it often.
Her Technique, Of Fortune Comes Fate, gives the whole team a Barrier for 20 seconds, and enemies that hit you in the overworld won't pull you into battle. The Barrier stays up even if you switch your lead character. If you start a battle while the Barrier is active, Fu Xuan activates Matrix of Prescience for 2 turns right away.
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 70% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP to one designated enemy.
Activates Matrix of Prescience, via which Fu Xuan’s teammates will Distribute 65% of the DMG they receive (before this DMG is mitigated by any Shields) to Fu Xuan for 3 turn(s).
While affected by Matrix of Prescience, all ally targets gain the Knowledge effect, which increases their respective Max HP by 7.5% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP, and increases CRIT Rate by 15.0%.
When Fu Xuan is knocked down, the Matrix of Prescience will be dispelled.
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 120% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP to all enemies and obtains 1 trigger count for the HP Restore effect granted by Fu Xuan’s Talent.
While Fu Xuan is still active in combat, Misfortune Avoidance is applied to the entire team. With Misfortune Avoidance, allies take 22.0% less DMG.
When Fu Xuan’s current HP percentage falls to 50% of her Max HP or less, HP Restore will be triggered for Fu Xuan, restoring her HP by 95% of the amount of HP she is currently missing. This effect cannot be triggered if she receives a killing blow. This effect has 1 trigger count by default and can hold up to a maximum of 2 trigger counts.
After the Technique is used, all team members receive a Barrier, lasting for 20 seconds. This Barrier can block all enemy attacks, and the team will not enter combat when attacked. Entering battle while the Barrier is active will have Fu Xuan automatically activate Matrix of Prescience at the start of the battle, lasting for 2 turn(s).
The Knowledge effect increases CRIT DMG by 30%.
If any ally target is struck by a killing blow while “Matrix of Prescience” is active, then all ally targets who were struck by a killing blow during this action will not be knocked down, and 70% of their Max HP is immediately restored. This effect can trigger 1 time per battle.
Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
When other allies under Matrix of Prescience are attacked, Fu Xuan regenerates 5 Energy.
Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Once Matrix of Prescience is activated, it will keep a tally of the total HP lost by all team members in the current battle. The DMG dealt by Fu Xuan’s Ultimate will increase by 200% of this tally of HP loss.
This tally is also capped at 120% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP and the tally value will reset and re-accumulate after Fu Xuan’s Ultimate is used.
Fu Xuan is a defensive character who can take damage in place of all of her allies, reduce the damage the whole team takes, and raise the CRIT Rate of the whole team. When Fu Xuan’s HP falls to or below a certain percentage, she restores her own HP.
