New Alchemy Commission's Cauldron Master

“I am a Vidyadhara, born and raised on the Luofu, and I once studied the healing arts under the name of ‘Dan Zhu.’ But my master became bogged down in politics and was banished to a place far from home. I followed her there. Now that I’ve changed my name and come home, many complicated feelings have returned.”

Should You Pull for Lingsha?

Healer

Lingsha is a Fire Abundance character who heals the whole team and deals a lot of Toughness damage at the same time. Her Skill summons Fuyuan, who hits all enemies on every action while healing and cleansing a debuff from the whole team. Her Ultimate inflicts Befog so enemies take more Break DMG, which makes her well worth pulling if you play Break teams or are short on healers.

She fits Break teams with Firefly or Boothill best, since she makes enemies take more Break DMG and helps chew through Toughness. If your team burns through Skill Points, think it over first, because Lingsha generates fewer Skill Points than other characters in her role.

Memory of Chaos Outstanding Her team-wide healing is steady, and when someone drops to 60% HP, Fuyuan jumps in with an extra emergency heal on its own.
Pure Fiction Outstanding Her Skill, her Ultimate and Fuyuan's attacks all hit every enemy, so she wears down Toughness across the whole field very quickly.
Apocalyptic Shadow Outstanding When there is only one target, Fuyuan's extra hit always lands on it, so the boss takes double Toughness damage every time Fuyuan acts.
Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Consistent and excellent team-wide healing
  • Absurdly high Toughness damage, even beating Gallagher
  • Strongly boosts break damage for the whole team
  • Steady healing and Toughness damage from Fuyuan's follow-up attacks, along with the AoE cleanse that comes with them
  • Scales off both ATK and Break Effect, so she contributes a fair amount of damage
  • Very strong emergency healing and cleansing
  • Excellent Energy regeneration
  • Unmatched synergy with break teams

Cons

  • Generates fewer Skill Points than others in her role, which makes her awkward in a few teams
  • Needs fairly high SPD to make sure the debuff from her Ultimate is always up

Best Lingsha Build Guide

Best Lingsha Build

Lingsha's healing scales off ATK, and her Vermilion Waft Trace raises her ATK and Outgoing Healing based on her Break Effect. That is why you build SPD, Break Effect and ATK% on her.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Scent Alone Stays True Scent Alone Stays True Best
Her best choice. It gives a lot of Break Effect and makes enemies take more damage, so both Lingsha and her teammates hit harder.
  • 2 Echoes of the Coffin Echoes of the Coffin Great
Its ATK means more healing, and she restores Energy when she hits enemies. On top of that, her Ultimate raises her teammates' SPD.
  • 3 Quid Pro Quo Quid Pro Quo Great
At Superimposition 5, one of the strongest support Light Cones for Abundance characters. The trade-off is that you give up the healing or buffs other Light Cones offer, and your team has to make use of the Energy it hands out.
  • 4 Post-Op Conversation Post-Op Conversation Great
An easy-to-get 4-star that gives a big chunk of Energy Regeneration Rate and boosts her Outgoing Healing after she uses her Ultimate.
  • 5 What Is Real? What Is Real? Easy to get
Her best free-to-play Light Cone. It is a pure Break Effect stat stick and heals her when she uses Basic ATK. Good when your team already survives fine and you want more Break damage rather than more healing.

Best Relics

1
The best pick in most cases. One set gives Break Effect and the other gives SPD, the two stats Lingsha wants most.
2
Best when the team has a Super Break source like the Trailblazer (Harmony). Then Lingsha deals a fair amount of damage herself to Weakness Broken enemies. Without Super Break, this set is much weaker. With all 4 pieces, aim for at least 250% Break Effect.
3
When Lingsha already has enough SPD from elsewhere, mix these two 2-piece sets that both give Break Effect.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
Her top choice. It gives a permanent 6% SPD, plus a lot of Break Effect when Lingsha hits an enemy with Fire Weakness.
2
Gives a lot of Break Effect without needing Fire Weakness, but Lingsha needs at least 145 SPD for it to work.
3
The best pick when Lingsha is not in a Break team. It raises her SPD and Outgoing Healing.

Main Stats

  • BodyOutgoing Healing Boost
  • FeetSPD
  • Planar SphereATK%
  • Link RopeEnergy Regeneration Rate or Break Effect

Substats

  • 1SPD (up to your breakpoint)
  • 2Break Effect
  • 3ATK%

An Energy Regeneration Rate rope gets her Ultimate up as soon as possible, and a Break Effect rope is about as good. If your Light Cone already restores Energy, just go with the Break Effect rope.

SPD and Break Effect are close to equal, so once you hit your SPD breakpoint, put the rest into Break Effect. There are two views on SPD: one says 134 is enough because she gets 2 turns in the first cycle, the other wants at least 151. Both agree that 160 or more is ideal. If your team gives her SPD buffs or advances her turn, she needs less.

Stat Targets

  • Break Effect100% or more, 200% maxes out Vermilion Waft
  • SPD160 or more is ideal, at least 145 with Talia
  • ATK2000 to 2200 or more
  • HP3400 to 3600 or more
  • DEF800 or more

Skill Priority

Ultimate > Talent > Skill > Basic ATK

Her Ultimate heals and leveling it makes Befog stronger, and her Talent raises the healing from Fuyuan's attacks, so level those two first. Her Skill raises her healing, so it comes next. Her Basic ATK deals little damage, so you can skip it.

Trace Priority

Sylvan Smoke, Ember's Echo, Vermilion Waft (unlock all three early)

Sylvan Smoke makes her Basic ATK regenerate 10 extra Energy, so her Ultimate comes up quickly without spamming her Skill. Ember's Echo lets Fuyuan launch an emergency heal on its own when someone drops to 60% HP. Vermilion Waft raises her ATK and Outgoing Healing based on her Break Effect, up to 50% ATK and 20% Outgoing Healing. All three matter, so don't skip any of them.

Eidolon Priority

E1 and E2 are both very strong stopping points

E1 raises her Weakness Break Efficiency by 50% and lowers the DEF of Weakness Broken enemies by 20%. E2 gives all allies 40% Break Effect for 3 turns whenever she uses her Ultimate, which turns Lingsha into a buffer for Break teams. E4 only adds healing, so you don't need it if her healing is already enough. E6 lowers all enemies' All-Type RES by 20% while Fuyuan is on the field, and every Fuyuan attack deals 4 extra instances of damage to random enemies, a huge damage boost for Super Break teams.

Best Lingsha Teams

Firefly Break Team

Replace Fugue with: Trailblazer (Harmony), Ruan Mei

Firefly adds Fire Weakness to enemies, so Lingsha can always hit their Toughness. Befog from her Ultimate makes enemies take more Break DMG, exactly what Firefly needs. The catch is that Firefly at E0 eats a lot of Skill Points while Lingsha does not generate many, so in longer fights be careful not to waste them.

Boothill Break Team

Boothill deals Break DMG, so he gets the full value of Lingsha's Befog. Ruan Mei raises Break Effect and Weakness Break Efficiency, and Sunday advances the DPS's turn and buffs their damage. Lingsha keeps everyone healed and adds extra Toughness damage.

Budget Team (All 4-Stars)

Replace March 7th (The Hunt) with: Xueyi Replace Asta with: Pela

March 7th (The Hunt) has to be built as a Break DPS for this team to work. The Trailblazer (Harmony) raises the team's Break Effect and enables Super Break DMG, so this is where Lingsha should wear 4-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge. Asta raises SPD and ATK, and since Lingsha's healing scales off ATK, that helps her too.

The Herta Erudition Team

Replace Tribbie with: Robin, Sunday, Ruan Mei, Tingyun, Trailblazer (Remembrance)

Here Lingsha is mostly there to heal. Her Skill, Ultimate and Follow-up ATKs all help restore Energy to The Herta and Tribbie. Anaxa's slot can go to another Erudition character, ideally one who attacks often and hits all enemies.

Best Teammates for Lingsha

Firefly
Firefly

A great pair. Firefly adds Fire Weakness so Lingsha can always hit Toughness, and Befog boosts Firefly's Break DMG. Just watch your Skill Points while Firefly is at E0.

Trailblazer (Harmony)
Trailblazer (Harmony)

Raises the team's Break Effect and enables Super Break DMG. With the Trailblazer (Harmony) on the team, put 4-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge on Lingsha so she deals more damage herself.

Fugue
Fugue

A regular partner in Break teams. Lingsha benefits from Break Effect and deals plenty of Toughness damage herself, so they work very well together.

Ruan Mei
Ruan Mei

Raises Break Effect and Weakness Break Efficiency, helping the whole team break Toughness faster.

Boothill
Boothill

Deals Break DMG, so he gets the full value of the Befog from Lingsha's Ultimate.

Rappa
Rappa

An alternative Break DPS who is stronger against more than three enemies. Pair her with the Trailblazer (Harmony).

Himeko
Himeko

Against many enemies with Fire Weakness, Lingsha deals a lot of Break DMG when she breaks them, which triggers the Follow-up ATKs of Himeko and Herta.

The Herta
The Herta

Lingsha heals and also helps restore Energy to The Herta through her Skill, Ultimate and Follow-up ATKs.

Asta
Asta

Raises the team's ATK and SPD. Lingsha's healing scales off ATK, so she benefits a lot.

Pela
Pela

Lowers enemy DEF, which raises the whole team's Break DMG.

How to Play Lingsha

Fuyuan Attacks, Heals and Cleanses on Its Own

The first time she uses her Skill, Lingsha summons Fuyuan with 90 SPD and 3 actions. Each time Fuyuan acts, it launches a Follow-up ATK on all enemies, adds one more hit on a random enemy (preferring one that still has Toughness and has Fire Weakness), and heals and dispels 1 debuff from the whole team. Using her Skill while Fuyuan is on the field adds 3 more actions, up to 5. Fuyuan disappears when it runs out of actions or when Lingsha is knocked down. Since Fuyuan has its own turn, it still acts even if Lingsha is crowd-controlled, and it can cleanse that crowd control off her.

Her Ultimate Befogs Every Enemy

Her Ultimate inflicts Befog on all enemies for 2 turns, making them take more Break DMG. At the same time, Lingsha deals Fire DMG to all enemies, heals the whole team and advances Fuyuan's action. Her Ultimate only costs 110 Energy, so it comes up fairly often. If you want Befog on enemies all the time, Lingsha needs fairly high SPD.

Mix in Basic ATKs to Save Skill Points

Thanks to her Sylvan Smoke Trace, her Basic ATK regenerates 10 extra Energy, which puts it on par with her Skill. So you only need her Skill to summon Fuyuan or top up its action count. The rest of the time, use Basic ATK and save Skill Points for your teammates.

Ember's Echo, an Automatic Safety Net

While Fuyuan is on the field, as soon as an ally drops to 60% HP or lower when taking DMG or consuming HP, Fuyuan immediately launches its Follow-up ATK without using up an action. This attack has all the usual effects: it hits all enemies, deals Toughness damage, and heals and cleanses the whole team. It can trigger again after 2 turns.

Quick Tips

  • Use her Technique before a fight so Fuyuan is on the field from the start and every enemy is hit with Befog for 2 turns.
  • If your Light Cone already restores Energy, switch to a Break Effect rope.
  • With the Trailblazer (Harmony) on the team, use 4-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge, otherwise combine 2-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge with 2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace.
  • If your team needs a lot of Skill Points right at the start of a fight, consider 4-piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud.
  • Lingsha's Basic ATK barely needs leveling, so save your materials for her Ultimate and Talent.

Playstyle overview

Lingsha is a healer who summons Fuyuan to support her allies. When Fuyuan acts, it launches a follow-up attack, heals the whole team, and cleanses debuffs from them. On top of that, Lingsha can increase the Break DMG that enemies take.

Lingsha FAQ

Is Lingsha worth pulling?
Yes, especially if you want to upgrade your Break teams or are short on healers. Lingsha is one of the best healers around: she heals the whole team, cleanses debuffs and deals a lot of Toughness damage.
What is the difference between Lingsha and Gallagher?
Both heal Break teams and deal great Toughness damage. Lingsha's edge is reliable emergency healing: her Ultimate heals the whole team and then advances Fuyuan so Fuyuan heals again right away, so she can easily bring the team back to full HP in a single action, which Gallagher cannot do. She also fits more kinds of teams.
What should Lingsha use without Scent Alone Stays True?
Echoes of the Coffin or Night of Fright both work well. For 4-stars, there is Post-Op Conversation, Dream's Montage, or Quid Pro Quo if your team can use the Energy. What Is Real? is the best free-to-play option.
Which Eidolon should I aim for on Lingsha?
E1 and E2 are both very strong: E1 helps her break Toughness faster and lowers enemy DEF, and E2 gives the whole team 40% Break Effect. E6 is a huge damage boost for Super Break teams. E4 only adds healing, so you don't need it if her healing is already enough.
Can Lingsha be used outside Break teams?
Yes. She still does well in an Erudition team with The Herta, healing and helping her teammates restore Energy. In that case, switch her Planar Ornament to Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding for more SPD and Outgoing Healing.
