Should You Pull for Robin • Summeretto?

Support

Robin • Summeretto is a flexible Remembrance support. She builds up Vibes to bring all three Summer Songbirds onto the field, and from there she buffs the whole team almost on autopilot. Her Ultimate advances the action of the ally you pick and restores their Energy, whenever you want it. She shines in all three endgame modes, so she is well worth pulling.

She fits a huge range of teams: Deviated Chords gives ATK to allies whose ATK is higher than hers and CRIT DMG to everyone else, so she works with both ATK scalers and HP scalers. If you play a Remembrance team built around Castorice, Evernight or Aglaea, she is an even easier pick.

Memory of Chaos Outstanding Her buffs land on the whole team automatically, and she pairs with many damage dealers like Castorice, Evernight and Himeko • Nova.
Pure Fiction Outstanding The Summer Songbirds hit every enemy, and her Zone lets the whole team ignore part of the enemy's DEF.
Apocalyptic Shadow Outstanding Her Ultimate advances an ally and restores their Energy exactly when you choose, so your main DPS can land the big hit at the right moment.

Best Robin • Summeretto Build Guide

Best Robin • Summeretto Build

Her ATK buff scales off her Max HP, so put everything into HP, SPD and Energy Regeneration Rate.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Rise and Sing Rise and Sing Best
Her signature. It gives her 30% HP, recovers 1 Skill Point when she uses her Ultimate, grants a 30% action advance when the battle starts and gives the whole team 20% SPD. It does the most in SPD-scaling teams. The HP part makes her ATK buff bigger, but in teams that don't scale on ATK that part is close to useless.
  • 2 Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky Great
Hyacine's signature. It gives her extra SPD, and since the Summer Songbirds are fast, they can apply the Light Cone's effect that makes enemies take more DMG.
  • 3 Memory's Curtain Never Falls Memory's Curtain Never Falls Good
Use it at S5, mostly as extra SPD to help her reach breakpoints. Keep in mind she can't use her Skill during the Fever state, so she can't refresh the Light Cone's buff.
  • 4 The Story's Next Page The Story's Next Page Good
A 4-star Light Cone you can only get from banners, used at S5. It raises her Max HP, which makes it a good fit for ATK-scaling teams.
  • 5 Time Waits for No One Time Waits for No One Stopgap
In ATK-scaling teams, pushing her HP as high as possible can be worth more than any Light Cone effect. Any off-Path Light Cone with 1375 or 1270 base HP does the job.

Best Relics

1
The best set for almost every team. The big Max HP boost makes her ATK buff stronger, and it also gives the whole team 15% more DMG.
2
An option for SPD-scaling teams. The buff only lasts 1 turn, so her Ultimate's 100% action advance makes it run out right away. In these teams you may want to skip using her Ultimate on the main damage dealer.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
The top choice for most teams. The SPD buff helps your allies hit their SPD breakpoints more easily.
2
Helps her Energy a little and gives ATK to the first ally in your lineup.
3
Use it when she needs to act first in battle, so she can summon her memosprite early and start gaining Vibes.

Main Stats

  • FeetSPD or HP%

  • Link RopeEnergy Regeneration Rate

Substats

  • 1SPD
  • 2HP%
  • 3CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG

Go HP% on the body first, with CRIT DMG as the backup. SPD boots are the standard pick. HP% boots cost her a bit of Energy gain but give your allies a bigger ATK buff. HP% on the sphere and Energy Regeneration Rate on the rope.

In ATK-scaling teams, skip CRIT stats completely and only stack SPD and HP% so her ATK buff is as big as possible. Her own damage is usually pretty weak in teams without memosprite buffs.

Skill Priority

Ultimate > Talent > Memosprite Talent > Memosprite Skill > Skill > Basic ATK

Her Ultimate level sets how much Energy your ally gets back. Her Talent sets how much DEF the Zone ignores, and the Memosprite Talent sets the DMG boost during Fever and how much extra DMG enemies take. Leave the Skill and Basic ATK for last.

Trace Priority

Deviated Chords > Improvised Blues > Rebuilt Harmony

Deviated Chords is her main buff for the team, so unlock it first. Improvised Blues gives her extra Energy when your team has someone who heals or gives Shields. Rebuilt Harmony adds 50% CRIT Rate to her and the Summer Songbirds.

Eidolon Priority

E1 and E2 make a big difference

E1 has the Summer Songbirds record the damage your allies deal, then deal extra True DMG equal to a part of that tally to the enemy with the highest HP, which is great for fights with a main boss and smaller adds. E2 raises the whole team's All-Type RES PEN, lifts her Vibes cap to 70 and gives her 2 extra points the first time an ally makes her gain Vibes in any unit's turn, so she holds more Vibes and her buffs stay higher. E6 gives her a fixed 140 Energy the first time she enters Fever in a battle and at the start of every countdown turn, and lets her store her Ultimate up to 2 times during Fever, so your team sees her Ultimate far more often.

Best Robin • Summeretto Teams

Castorice Remembrance Team

Replace Evernight with: Cyrene, Mortenax Blade

The Summer Songbirds stay on the field the whole time, so every heal or AoE hit has more targets and Castorice gains Newbud faster. You don't have to aim Robin • Summeretto's Ultimate at Castorice. Using it on Hyacine for the Energy is often the better play.

Evernight Remembrance Team

In this full Remembrance team everyone boosts each other's damage in some way, and she buffs both Cyrene and Evernight. A well-timed Ultimate can let Evernight use her Skill twice within one Darkest Riddle consumption, and the percentage-based Energy refund makes Evernight a much stronger main damage dealer.

Himeko • Nova Team

Replace Huohuo with: Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae, Tribbie

Himeko • Nova needs a lot of Energy and attacks often, which makes her a great target for the Ultimate. The catch is that Robin • Summeretto can't take actions to use up Himeko • Nova's Assist Skills, so when you advance Himeko • Nova you need to plan the turn order ahead. Welt is currently Himeko • Nova's best teammate.

Ashveil and Mortenax Blade Team

This team scales on several different stats. Robin • Summeretto turns HP buffs into ATK for Ashveil, which is why Hyacine still fits here, while Mortenax Blade gets her ATK or CRIT DMG buff and hits harder. Mortenax Blade's DEF Reduction and her Zone's DEF ignore work very well together.

Best Teammates for Robin • Summeretto

Hyacine
Hyacine

She likes having a healer around to trigger Improvised Blues for extra Energy. Hyacine is fast and acts several times per turn, so she stacks Vibes very well.

Castorice
Castorice

With the Summer Songbirds always on the field, every heal or AoE hit has more targets, so Castorice gains Newbud faster. That makes her one of Castorice's better teammates.

Evernight
Evernight

Her on-demand action advance and percentage-based Energy refund make Evernight a much stronger main damage dealer.

Cyrene
Cyrene

As a Remembrance character, she gets the part of Cyrene's passive meant for Remembrance characters, and she also raises Cyrene's damage.

Aglaea
Aglaea

Her signature Light Cone and some Planar Ornaments give the team SPD, and Aglaea gets a huge ATK buff from her. The action advance and percentage-based Energy refund suit Aglaea's large 360 Energy pool.

Himeko • Nova
Himeko • Nova

An Energy-hungry damage dealer who attacks often, so she is a great Ultimate target. Plan the turn order carefully so all of Himeko • Nova's Assist Skills get used.

Mortenax Blade
Mortenax Blade

He usually plays Sub-DPS and gets her ATK or CRIT DMG buff to hit harder. His DEF Reduction and her DEF ignore work very well together.

Ashveil
Ashveil

She turns HP buffs into ATK for Ashveil, which lets Hyacine join Ashveil teams alongside Mortenax Blade.

Phainon
Phainon

When Phainon transforms, she and her Fever countdown are removed from the field, so her Vibes don't get reset, but her E1 doesn't work either. Next to Phainon she needs no other stats, so you can run HP% as the main stat on all four pieces (body, feet, sphere and rope) for a huge ATK buff.

How to Play Robin • Summeretto

Build Vibes to Bring Out All Three Songbirds

Her Skill summons the Summer Songbird Bessie and restores 20 Energy for her. If a Summer Songbird is already on the field, the Skill heals it instead and gives her 6 Vibes. On top of that, she gains 1 Vibe every time an ally attacks, or the first time an ally heals or gives a Shield in any unit's turn, up to 50.

At 6 Vibes Drummie joins automatically, and at 12 Vibes Paddie follows. The more Summer Songbirds on the field, the more DMG enemies take. Once all three are out, her Crowd Control debuffs are dispelled, she enters the Fever state and deploys a Zone. Allies attacking inside the Zone ignore part of the enemy's DEF, and the more Vibes she has, the more DEF they ignore.

Keep the Fever Going

During Fever she no longer takes turns and is immune to Crowd Control. The Summer Songbirds act for her and use Chirrup Quartet to hit all enemies, and both her DMG and theirs go up with her Vibes.

A countdown also appears on the action bar with an initial SPD of 140. Every time it takes its turn, she loses 50% of her current Vibes (at least 12). When Vibes hit 0, the Summer Songbirds disappear and Fever ends. That means your team has to generate enough Vibes between countdowns, and you should time your bursts around how many Vibes she has. If the Summer Songbirds leave the field, her action advances by 50% so she can bring them back quickly.

An Ultimate You Can Give to Anyone

Her Ultimate costs 140 Energy. It advances one ally's action (not her own) by 100% and restores Energy based on a percentage of that ally's Max Energy. That ally gets Special Guest for 2 turns: each time they or their summon attack, she gains 2 extra Vibes, but they can't advance other allies' actions. It works especially well on characters who attack a lot outside their turn or have a memosprite attacking for them.

The Ultimate gives no special buff to the ally you pick, because all her buffs already apply to the whole team. So you are free to choose: push a Sub-DPS or another support ahead of your main DPS, or top up Energy for a teammate's key Ultimate.

Her Buff Adapts to Each Ally

With Deviated Chords, whenever an ally makes her gain Vibes: if that ally's ATK is higher than hers, they gain ATK equal to (16% + 0.4% per Vibe) of her Max HP. If not, they gain (40% + 1.5% per Vibe) CRIT DMG instead. The buff lasts 2 turns. This is why she works with both ATK scalers and HP scalers, and why you should stack HP on her.

Quick Tips

  • Use her Technique before a fight: at the start of battle her action advances by 20%, she gains 6 Vibes right away and all allies get 30% more DMG for 2 turns.
  • Bring a healer or a Shield so Improvised Blues gives her Groove stacks, each turning into 3 Energy.
  • In Castorice teams, using her Ultimate on Hyacine for the Energy is often better than using it on Castorice.
  • If she wears 4-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace, hold off on aiming her Ultimate at your main DPS, since the 1-turn buff would run out right away.
  • Shadowburn at S5 is an option when you want to clear a stage as fast as possible, because it helps her use her Ultimate early in the fight.

Robin • Summeretto FAQ

Is Robin • Summeretto worth pulling?
Yes. She performs very well in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow alike. Her buffs hit the whole team automatically and work for both ATK scalers and HP scalers, so she fits into a lot of teams.
How is she different from Trailblazer (Remembrance)?
Her biggest edge is that you have full control over when to use her Ultimate to advance an ally and restore their Energy. Having her also frees up Trailblazer (Remembrance) to join other teams.
What should she use without her signature Light Cone?
Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky is the next pick. Memory's Curtain Never Falls at S5 adds SPD, and The Story's Next Page at S5 adds HP, which suits ATK-scaling teams.
Which Eidolon should I stop at?
E1 and E2 are the two that make a big difference. E1 turns part of your team's damage into True DMG on the enemy with the highest HP, and E2 raises All-Type RES PEN and lifts her Vibes cap to 70.
Does Robin • Summeretto need CRIT stats?
The suggested target is 50% CRIT Rate, and Rebuilt Harmony also adds 50% CRIT Rate to her and the Summer Songbirds. In ATK-scaling teams, though, skip CRIT and only stack SPD and HP% for the biggest ATK buff.
