Vow of Voyage
[Single Target]Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 70% of Mydei’s Max HP to one designated enemy.
“I am the crown prince of Kremnos ‘Mydeimos,’ and also the warrior of Okhema ‘Mydei.’ If you want to know me better, observe me in battle or fight me yourself.”
Mydei is an Imaginary Destruction DPS whose damage scales off his Max HP. He spends his own HP with his Skill to build Charge, and at 100 Charge he enters Vendetta, where he is very hard to kill and attacks on his own turn after turn. He is a good pull if your account has no limited Imaginary DPS yet, or if trading HP for damage sounds fun to you.
He suits players who don't mind letting a character fight on his own, because once he is in Vendetta the only thing you press yourself is his Ultimate. If you often run into fights where hitting the right target matters, think it over first.
Mydei's damage scales off his Max HP, so his gear is all about HP%, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. ATK% buffs do almost nothing for him.

CRIT DMG and HP% both work on the body. The Bloodied Chiton Trace already gives him a lot of CRIT Rate, so go for CRIT DMG there and skip CRIT Rate. SPD comes first on the feet, with HP% as the backup. An HP% sphere makes 8000 HP easier to reach, though Imaginary DMG Boost is fine too. The rope is HP% only.
HP% matters most until you reach 8000 HP outside of combat, and after that it is about as good as CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. You only need SPD if you are aiming for 134 or more.
His Skill does most of his damage, so level it first. His Ultimate is just as important, since you fire it off for damage whenever it is ready. The Talent handles his healing. Basic ATK goes last because you will almost always be using his Skill instead.
All three change how Mydei plays a lot, so unlock them as early as you can. Bloodied Chiton gives him CRIT Rate based on how far his Max HP goes above 4000. Earth and Water stops him from leaving Vendetta when he takes a killing blow, up to 3 times per battle. Thirty Tyrants makes him immune to Crowd Control debuffs while he is in Vendetta.
E1 increases the DMG multiplier of Godslayer Be God on the primary target by 30% and makes it hit all enemies as well. E2 lets him ignore 15% of enemy DEF in Vendetta and turns part of the healing he receives into Charge. E4 works in Vendetta: it adds 30% CRIT DMG and restores 10% of his Max HP whenever enemies attack him. E6 puts him in Vendetta as soon as battle starts and lowers the Charge needed for Godslayer Be God to 100.
Cyrene buffs Mydei's damage, and each time she uses her Ultimate it can trigger his Godslayer Be God while massively raising the CRIT DMG of that hit, so he relies less on losing HP to land his strongest attack. Robin • Summeretto adds more buffs that make him hit harder. With Cyrene on the team, use Hyacine as the healer, since she raises Mydei's HP and helps Cyrene charge her Ultimate quickly. Without Cyrene, switch to a healer who heals more, like Luocha or Gallagher.
In this team Mydei is the Sub-DPS and Castorice is the main damage dealer. Every time he spends his HP, he builds up Newbud for Castorice's Ultimate. Tribbie buffs both of them, while Gallagher uses the Besotted debuff from his Ultimate to keep healing the team.
Besides Mydei, this team only uses the Trailblazer and 4-star characters. Trailblazer (Remembrance) gives him CRIT DMG, and Pela lowers enemy DEF with her Ultimate. Lynx raises Mydei's Max HP and makes enemies more likely to target him, and every hit he takes builds more Charge.
Each use of her Ultimate can trigger Mydei's Godslayer Be God and massively boosts the CRIT DMG of that hit. Time Cyrene's Ultimate and you get Mydei's strongest attack exactly when you need it.
One of his best supports. He advances Mydei's action so he acts twice as often, uses his Ultimate more and triggers Godslayer Be God more. The usual setup is Mydei at 135 SPD and Sunday at 134.
She gives Mydei kinds of damage boosts his kit doesn't have yet: more DMG taken by enemies and RES PEN. She also deals solid damage herself thanks to Mydei's huge HP pool.
Lets Mydei cast his Skill twice and boosts his Skill DMG.
Gives an occasional action advance and a True DMG bonus. Not as strong as the other options, and the action advance doesn't always line up well, but still fine if you have nobody better.
Raises Mydei's HP, but heavy healing can mean he builds less Charge. She is most worth it with Cyrene on the team, because Hyacine charges Cyrene's Ultimate quickly.
Mydei loses a lot of his own HP every turn, so he needs a strong healer. Luocha heals steadily no matter how many enemies there are, and his automatic healing triggers on Mydei easily.
Against groups of enemies, the debuff from Gallagher's Ultimate triggers several times whenever Mydei hits multiple targets, so Gallagher heals a lot more.
His Skill, Deaths are Legion, Regrets are None, consumes 50% of Mydei's current HP and then deals Imaginary DMG to the target and adjacent enemies. His Talent gives him 1 point of Charge for every 1% of HP he loses, up to 200 points. Losing HP to enemy attacks builds Charge too. If he doesn't have enough HP, the Skill just drops him to 1 HP.
At 100 Charge, Mydei consumes 100 points to enter the Vendetta state, restores HP and advances his action by 100%. While in Vendetta his Max HP goes up by 50%, but his DEF stays at 0. At the start of each of his turns he automatically uses Kingslayer Be King. When his Charge reaches 150, he immediately gets 1 extra turn and automatically uses Godslayer Be God, the strongest attack in his kit. 0 DEF sounds scary, but it actually helps: the more HP he loses to hits, the faster his Charge fills up.
If Mydei takes a killing blow in Vendetta, he doesn't go down. Instead he clears his Charge, leaves Vendetta and restores HP equal to 50% of his Max HP. With the Earth and Water Trace, he even stays in Vendetta the first 3 times this happens in a battle. Add Thirty Tyrants for immunity to Crowd Control debuffs, and there is very little that can stop him in Vendetta.
In Vendetta, Mydei attacks random enemies on his own, and the only thing you can still use by hand is his Ultimate, Throne of Bones. It restores HP, adds 20 Charge, deals damage and Taunts the target and adjacent enemies for 2 turns. Most importantly, it marks the target so his next Godslayer Be God goes after that enemy first, so if you want his big hit on the boss, use the Ultimate on the boss. The Ultimate costs 160 Energy, but the Taunt pulls attacks onto Mydei, so he gets Energy back faster than you would expect.
Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 70% of Mydei’s Max HP to one designated enemy.
Consumes HP by an amount equal to 50% of Mydei’s current HP. Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 113% of Mydei’s Max HP to one designated enemy and Imaginary DMG equal to 63% of Mydei’s Max HP to adjacent targets.
If the current HP is not sufficient, using Skill reduces Mydei’s current HP to 1.
Restores HP by 22.5% of Mydei’s Max HP and accumulates 20 Talent’s Charge point(s). Deals Imaginary DMG equal to 192% of Mydei’s Max HP to one designated enemy, and deals Imaginary DMG equal to 120% of Mydei’s Max HP to adjacent targets. Additionally, Taunts the target and targets adjacent to it, lasting for 2 turn(s). The next use of “Godslayer Be God” prioritizes attacking one designated enemy, and this effect only works on the latest target.
For each 1% of HP lost, accumulates 1 point of Charge (up to 200 points). When Charge reaches 100, consumes 100 points of Charge to enter the “Vendetta” state, restores HP equal to 30% of Mydei’s Max HP, and advances action by 100%. While the “Vendetta” state is active, Max HP increases by 50% of the current Max HP and DEF remains at 0. At the start of this unit’s turn, automatically uses “Kingslayer Be King.”
When Charge reaches 150 points during the “Vendetta” state, Mydei immediately gains 1 extra turn and automatically uses “Godslayer Be God.”
When receiving a killing blow during the “Vendetta” state, Mydei will not be knocked down, but will clear his Charge, exits the “Vendetta” state, and restores HP by 50% of his Max HP.
After using Technique, pulls in enemies within a certain area and inflicts Daze on them for 10 second(s). Dazed enemies will not actively attack ally targets.
If actively attacking Dazed enemies, when entering battle, deals Imaginary DMG equal to 80% of Mydei’s Max HP to all enemies, and Taunts the targets, lasting for 1 turn(s). This unit accumulates 50 point(s) of Talent’s Charge.
Increases the DMG multiplier dealt by “Godslayer Be God” to the primary target by 30%. This ability now deals to all enemies Imaginary DMG equal to the DMG multiplier dealt to the primary target.
During “Vendetta,” the DMG dealt by Mydei ignores 15% of enemy targets’ DEF. After he receives healing, converts 40% of the healed amount to Charge. The tally of the converted Charge cannot exceed 40 point(s). Resets this tally of Charge after any unit takes action.
Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
While in “Vendetta,” increases CRIT DMG by 30% and restores HP by 10% of this unit’s Max HP after receiving attacks from enemy targets.
Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
When entering battle, immediately enters the “Vendetta” state, and lowers the Charge required for “Godslayer Be God” to 100 point(s).
Mydei is a damage dealer who gains enhancements by consuming his own HP. Once Mydei has consumed a certain amount of HP, he enters the Vendetta state, gaining enhancements and automatically using powerful abilities. In this state, Mydei will not be knocked out even if he takes a fatal hit.
