Should You Pull for Misha?

Main DPS

Misha is a 4-star Ice DPS on the Destruction Path, and almost all of his damage comes from his Ultimate. The more Skill Points your whole team spends, the more hits his Ultimate gets, and every hit has a chance to Freeze the enemy. He handles single targets well but runs out of steam against groups, so right now he has a hard time keeping up in all three endgame modes.

A good fit if you enjoy Freeze control or need an Ice damage dealer for single-target fights. Don't expect Misha to carry a team on his own: he only shines when his teammates spend Skill Points steadily.

Memory of Chaos Weak He is fine against a lone boss, but once more enemies show up, his Ultimate's bounces land on random targets and are hard to focus on the one you want.
Pure Fiction Weak His Skill hits at most 3 targets and each hit of his Ultimate only strikes one enemy, so crowded waves are his biggest problem.
Apocalyptic Shadow Weak His Toughness damage is high, but he still struggles in this mode, even at E6.
Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Outstanding Freeze ability
  • Can crush single-target fights
  • High and solid Toughness damage
  • Scales very well with Eidolons

Cons

  • Unremarkable in AoE content
  • The bounces on his Ultimate are unreliable
  • Hard to optimize his stats
  • Not worth investing in

Best Misha Build Guide

Standard Misha Build

Misha is a regular CRIT-based damage dealer. Reach your SPD breakpoint first, then pile on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 On the Fall of an Aeon On the Fall of an Aeon Best
The top pick for Misha, and it stays near the top at S5. It raises his ATK and gives him a DMG boost whenever he inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy.
  • 2 Thus Burns the Dawn Thus Burns the Dawn Best
This 5-star Light Cone is also one of the best choices for Misha, and it already does the job at S1. If you have it, use it.
  • 3 A Trail of Bygone Blood A Trail of Bygone Blood Great
A 4-star that fits him really well. It boosts Skill and Ultimate DMG, which are exactly the two abilities Misha uses most, and it adds CRIT Rate on top.
  • 4 Under the Blue Sky Under the Blue Sky Great
Raises his ATK and gives him extra CRIT Rate when he defeats an enemy.
  • 5 A Secret Vow A Secret Vow Good
Increases his DMG and lets him deal extra damage to enemies whose current HP percentage is equal to or higher than his. It works pretty well at S5.

Best Relics

1
Boosts Ice DMG and gives him CRIT DMG after he uses his Ultimate. Since his Ultimate lands many hits, he gets a lot out of that buff.
2
About as good as the set above. It gives CRIT Rate and boosts Skill and Ultimate DMG. Use whichever set rolled better stats for you.
3
If you don't have 4 good pieces yet, mix 2 + 2 as a stopgap. He still deals a decent amount of Ice DMG with it.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
The number one pick. It directly increases Misha's DMG, as long as he has at least 135 SPD.
2
Boosts his Ultimate DMG and adds a little CRIT Rate.
3
Good for early game: it raises his ATK and only needs 120 SPD to activate.

Main Stats

  • BodyCRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
  • FeetSPD or ATK%
  • Planar SphereIce DMG Boost or ATK%
  • Link RopeATK%

Substats

  • 1SPD (up to the breakpoint you need)
  • 2CRIT Rate
  • 3CRIT DMG
  • 4ATK%

Go for SPD Feet so he reaches the breakpoint for Firmament Frontline: Glamoth. ATK% Feet are only the backup option. On the Planar Sphere, take Ice DMG Boost first and ATK% second. For the Link Rope, just take ATK%.

Collect SPD until you hit your breakpoint, then focus on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. Pick up ATK% whenever it shows up.

Stat Targets

  • SPD135 or more (with Firmament Frontline: Glamoth)
  • CRIT Rate70% or more
  • CRIT DMG120% or more
  • ATK2200 or more

Skill Priority

Ultimate = Skill > Talent > Basic ATK

His Ultimate is his main source of damage, and his Skill is what you use while the Ultimate isn't ready, so level these two evenly first. His Talent restores Energy and adds hits to his next Ultimate whenever the team spends Skill Points, so it comes right after. Basic ATK goes last.

Trace Priority

Interlock > Release > Transmission

Interlock gives 60% Effect Hit Rate while he uses his Ultimate, which makes his Freezes much more reliable. Release increases the base chance to Freeze with the Ultimate's first hit by 80%. Transmission gives 30% CRIT DMG when he hits Frozen enemies.

Eidolon Priority

E2 is the best value

E2 gives each hit of his Ultimate a 24% base chance to reduce the target's DEF by 16% for 3 turns, which adds a bit of support value. E1 adds extra Ultimate hits based on the number of enemies on the field, up to 5. E4 raises the DMG multiplier of each Ultimate hit by 6%. E6 increases his DMG by 30% when he uses his Ultimate and recovers 1 Skill Point for the team the next time he uses his Skill.

Best Misha Teams

Budget Team (All 4-Stars)

A simple team: Asta raises SPD and Yukong raises CRIT stats, so both of them are there to buff Misha's attacks. Lynx heals and cleanses debuffs with her Ultimate.

Standard Team

Replace Sparkle with: Bronya Replace Tingyun with: Ruan Mei, Asta, Hanya Replace Huohuo with: Fu Xuan, Luocha, Gepard

Misha plays as your usual main damage dealer here. Sparkle gives him extra turns and CRIT DMG, and Bronya can do a similar job by pulling his turn forward and boosting his DMG. Tingyun restores his Energy so his Ultimate comes up faster. Huohuo heals, restores Energy and raises the whole team's ATK.

Freeze Control Team

Replace March 7th with: Ruan Mei, Pela Replace Gepard with: Trailblazer (Preservation), Fu Xuan Replace Luocha with: Huohuo, Lynx

This team lives on crowd control: both Misha and March 7th can Freeze enemies with their Ultimates. Gepard puts up strong shields, and Luocha heals a lot and can remove enemy buffs with his Ultimate. If you don't have Gepard, Trailblazer (Preservation) can also taunt enemies and give small shields to the whole team.

Ice-Quantum Team

Replace Ruan Mei with: Pela Replace Gepard with: Fu Xuan, Lynx

Use this when enemies are weak to Quantum but not to Ice. Silver Wolf is a must, because she implants an Ice Weakness on the enemy for Misha to hit. Ruan Mei raises his Break Efficiency and delays the enemy's recovery from Weakness Break.

Best Teammates for Misha

Sparkle
Sparkle

One of the best buffers for Misha: she gives him extra turns and CRIT DMG.

Sunday
Sunday

Sits with Sparkle among his best buffers, and he gives you more Skill Point freedom than Bronya does.

Bronya
Bronya

Pulls his turn forward with her Skill and boosts his DMG with her Ultimate. She does about as much as Sparkle, just with less Skill Point freedom.

Tingyun
Tingyun

Restores Misha's Energy so his Ultimate fills up faster.

Huohuo
Huohuo

Heals, restores Energy for the whole team and raises ATK.

Ruan Mei
Ruan Mei

Raises Misha's Break Efficiency and makes enemies take longer to recover from Weakness Break.

Silver Wolf
Silver Wolf

Implants an Ice Weakness on enemies, so Misha can still fight enemies that are not weak to Ice.

Asta
Asta

An easy-to-get 4-star who raises the team's SPD or ATK.

Yukong
Yukong

A 4-star who boosts Misha's CRIT stats, a good fit for budget teams.

Hanya
Hanya

Recovers extra Skill Points and gives ATK, which suits a character like Misha who wants the whole team spending Skill Points.

How to Play Misha

Build Up Hits for His Ultimate

Misha's Ultimate has 3 hits by default and can stack up to 10. With his Talent, Horological Escapement, every time anyone on the team spends 1 Skill Point, his next Ultimate gets 1 more hit and Misha restores some Energy. His own Skill adds a hit too, and it also triggers his Talent, so each Skill use is worth 2 extra hits. After the Ultimate is used, the hit count resets to the default. That is why Misha works best next to teammates who spend Skill Points steadily.

Freeze Enemies With His Ultimate

Just before each hit of his Ultimate lands, there is a chance to Freeze the target for 1 turn. Frozen enemies cannot take any actions, and they take Additional Ice DMG at the start of their turn. The Release Trace increases the base chance to Freeze with the first hit by 80%, Interlock gives 60% Effect Hit Rate while he uses his Ultimate, and Transmission gives 30% CRIT DMG when he hits Frozen enemies.

Strong on One Target, Struggles Against Groups

The first hit of his Ultimate goes to the enemy you pick, and the rest bounce to random enemies. With only one enemy on the field, every hit lands on it, but as soon as there are more, the bounces scatter and where they go is no longer up to you. His Skill only hits the main target and the 2 enemies next to it, so Misha struggles when there are lots of enemies.

Use His Technique Before Battle

His Technique, Wait, You Are So Beautiful!, creates a dimension, and enemies caught inside are inflicted with Dream Prison and stop all their actions. If you enter battle against enemies afflicted with Dream Prison, Misha's next Ultimate gets 2 extra hits.

Quick Tips

  • Pair Misha with teammates who spend a lot of Skill Points, because the more the team spends, the more hits his Ultimate gets.
  • Firmament Frontline: Glamoth needs 135 SPD; until you get there, use Space Sealing Station, which only needs 120 SPD.
  • If Sparkle or Bronya pulls his turns forward very quickly, Misha can stay at base SPD and put his stats into CRIT instead.
  • You barely need to level his Basic ATK, so save the materials for his Ultimate, Skill and Talent.
  • Remember to use his Technique before battle: entering a fight against enemies afflicted with Dream Prison gives his next Ultimate 2 extra hits.

Misha FAQ

Is Misha worth investing in?
Right now he has a hard time in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow alike. If you need a single-target Ice damage dealer and like Freezing enemies, he is still usable; otherwise, put your resources into other characters first.
What Light Cone should Misha use?
On the Fall of an Aeon is the top pick, and Thus Burns the Dawn is also excellent. For 4-stars, A Trail of Bygone Blood or Under the Blue Sky both suit him.
Why does Misha need teammates who spend Skill Points?
Every Skill Point the team spends adds 1 hit to his next Ultimate and restores Energy for Misha. The more your teammates spend, the stronger his Ultimate gets and the sooner it is ready.
Is Misha good at AoE?
No. His Skill hits at most 3 targets, and each hit of his Ultimate only strikes one enemy and bounces randomly, so he struggles against large groups.
Which Eidolon should I aim for?
E2 is the best value, because his Ultimate gets extra chances to lower enemy DEF. E1 and E6 are also great, while E4 is a smaller upgrade.
