Jiaoqiu is a Fire Nihility support who spreads Ashen Roast so enemies take more DMG from every source. His Ultimate opens a Zone that keeps Ashen Roast at the highest stack count on the field and makes enemies take extra Ultimate DMG. He is not a DPS, so don't build him to carry damage, but he is very easy to play.
He fits best if you play Acheron, since he applies debuffs even during the enemy's turn and brings exactly the DMG taken increase Acheron's own kit lacks. Outside Acheron teams he is still a solid support in many teams, Kafka DoT included, but he falls behind most top Harmony characters.
Jiaoqiu wants Effect Hit Rate so Ashen Roast lands reliably, and SPD so he moves before your DPS. His own damage is only a bonus, so don't chase CRIT stats.

Effect Hit Rate on the body so Ashen Roast sticks, SPD on the feet so he moves before your DPS. An Energy Regeneration Rate rope gets his Ultimate back faster and keeps the Zone up. On the sphere, Fire DMG Boost or ATK% both work, since his damage is only a bonus.
Stack Effect Hit Rate until 140% first, then SPD, then ATK%.
His Talent sets how much extra DMG Ashen Roast makes enemies take, so level it first. The Ultimate raises the extra Ultimate DMG taken and the chance to apply Ashen Roast. The Skill only adds damage, so leave it for later, and you can skip Basic ATK.
Seared Scent matters most: while the Zone is up, enemies entering combat get Ashen Roast right away. Pyre Cleanse gives 15 Energy at the start of battle, and Hearth Kindle adds ATK based on Effect Hit Rate above 80%.
E1 makes allies deal 40% more DMG to enemies with Ashen Roast, and each time the Talent applies Ashen Roast it adds 1 extra stack. E2 greatly boosts Ashen Roast's DoT, which is great for DoT teams. E6 moves a defeated enemy's Ashen Roast to the enemy with the fewest stacks, raises the cap to 9 stacks, and each stack lowers All-Type RES by 3%.
This is where Jiaoqiu shines most. He applies Ashen Roast during the enemy's turn too, which gives Acheron more Slashed Dream for her Ultimate, and his Zone makes enemies take more Ultimate DMG. With Jiaoqiu in the team, your Preservation character doesn't need Trend of the Universal Market, because Slashed Dream can only go up by one during an enemy's turn.
Ashen Roast counts as a DoT, so Jiaoqiu slots into Kafka teams naturally. His job is to make enemies take more DMG so Kafka and Black Swan hit harder. Without Black Swan, Sampo fits against Wind-weak enemies, Luka against single Physical-weak targets, and Guinaifen against groups of Fire-weak enemies.
His number one teammate. She needs someone who applies debuffs constantly, and nobody does it better than Jiaoqiu. He is also Nihility and brings the DMG taken increase her own kit doesn't have.
Ashen Roast is a DoT, so Jiaoqiu works in Kafka teams, and his DMG taken increase applies to all damage.
The Sub-DPS next to Kafka in DoT teams, and she benefits from Jiaoqiu's DMG taken increase.
Pairs with Acheron and Jiaoqiu as a shielder who also buffs ATK.
Raises the whole team's SPD and ATK. Ashen Roast scales on ATK, so Jiaoqiu gets stronger too.
A 4-star healer who applies debuffs with his Ultimate and Enhanced Basic ATK, so he can fill the sustain slot in both Acheron and DoT teams.
Can take the support slot in Acheron teams, lowering enemy DEF with her Ultimate.
Use her when Acheron is E2. She boosts DMG and gives Acheron more Skill Points.
Every time Jiaoqiu hits an enemy with Basic ATK, Skill or Ultimate, his Talent has a 100% base chance to apply 1 stack of Ashen Roast. The first stack makes the enemy take 15% more DMG, and each stack after that adds 5%, up to 5 stacks for 35%. Ashen Roast lasts 2 turns and refreshes when reapplied. Enemies with Ashen Roast also count as Burned and take Fire DoT at the start of each turn.
His Skill is a Blast attack with a 100% base chance to add 1 more stack of Ashen Roast on the main target. Together with the Talent, the main target gets 2 stacks and the two adjacent enemies get 1 each. You won't use it for its damage, but you will press it fairly often to build stacks.
His Ultimate costs only 100 Energy. When used, every enemy's Ashen Roast is set to the highest stack count on the field, then Jiaoqiu opens a Zone and deals Fire DMG to all enemies. Inside the Zone, enemies take 15% more Ultimate DMG, which adds up to 50% together with the 35% from Ashen Roast at 5 stacks. Each time an enemy acts, it also has a 60% base chance to get 1 more stack, up to 6 times per Ultimate. The Zone lasts 3 of Jiaoqiu's turns and disappears if he is knocked down.
With the Seared Scent Trace, enemies entering combat while the Zone is up get the highest Ashen Roast stack count right away. This works on enemies spawning in Pure Fiction and on the next wave in Memory of Chaos.
His Technique creates a special dimension that lasts 15 seconds. If you enter combat with enemies inside it, Jiaoqiu deals Fire DMG to all enemies with a 100% base chance to apply 1 stack of Ashen Roast.
On top of that, the Pyre Cleanse Trace gives him 15 Energy when battle starts, so with a bit of Energy Regeneration Rate he can use his Ultimate on his first turn.

While inside the Zone, enemy targets receive 18.0% increased Ultimate DMG, with a 65% base chance of being inflicted with 1 stack of Ashen Roast when taking action. While the Zone exists, this effect can trigger up to 6 time(s). And for each enemy target, it can only trigger once per turn. This trigger count resets every time Jiaoqiu uses Ultimate.
The Zone lasts for 3 turn(s), and its duration decreases by 1 at the start of this unit’s every turn. If Jiaoqiu gets knocked down, the Zone will also be dispelled.
When Jiaoqiu hits an enemy with Basic ATK, Skill or Ultimate, there is a 138% base chance to inflict 1 stack of Ashen Roast on them. At 1 stack, increases DMG received by the enemy by 200.0%. Then, each subsequent stack increases this by 600.0%.
Ashen Roast is capped at 12 stack(s) and lasts for 1 turn(s).
When an enemy target is afflicted with Ashen Roast, they are also considered as being Burned at the same time, taking Fire DoT equal to 200% of Jiaoqiu’s ATK at the start of each turn.
After using Technique, creates a Special Dimension that lasts for 15 second(s). After entering combat with enemies in this Special Dimension, deals Fire DMG equal to 100% of Jiaoqiu’s ATK to all enemies, with a 100% base chance of applying 1 “Ashen Roast” stack. Only 1 dimension created by allies can exist at the same time.
Allies deal 40% increased DMG to enemy targets afflicted with Ashen Roast. Whenever inflicting Ashen Roast on an enemy target via triggering the Talent’s effect, additionally increases the number of “Ashen Roast” stacks applied this time by 1.
When an enemy target is afflicted with Ashen Roast, increases the multiplier for the Fire DoT dealt by Ashen Roast to this target by 300%.

When an enemy target gets defeated, their accumulated “Ashen Roast” stacks will transfer to the enemy with the lowest number of “Ashen Roast” stacks on the battlefield. The maximum stack limit of Ashen Roast increases to 9, and each “Ashen Roast” stack reduces the target’s All-Type RES by 3%.
Jiaoqiu is a support character who applies Ashen Roast to enemies, increasing the damage they take and dealing Burn DMG to them. After Jiaoqiu uses his Ultimate, he opens a Zone, and enemies inside the Zone take increased Ultimate DMG.
