Yao Guang is a support character who can trigger extra “Aha Moments.” Yao Guang can make the attacks of the entire team carry Elation DMG, and she also has many ways to gain Humor points, while her Skill raises the team’s Elation level.

  • Creates extra instances of Elation damage for the whole team without consuming Punchline stacks (the Elation Path's own resource)
  • Stacks Punchline continuously without spending Skill Points

    Yao Guang’s signature Light Cone is a very large quality of life upgrade over the alternatives, though it is not required for her to function well.

    The added SPD helps Yao Guang reach high SPD breakpoints, which in turn helps Aha hit important SPD thresholds too. This Light Cone also gives a strong CRIT buff to the whole team, including herself, which noticeably increases Elation damage.

    Most importantly, Yao Guang has fairly poor Energy regeneration, and this Light Cone helps a great deal in getting her Ultimate out one turn earlier while making sure she has it ready right after the first turn.

    This is the only F2P Light Cone available in the Forgotten Hall shop, and it increases the Elation damage that enemies take.

    However, it provides no value at all in teams that are not built around the Path of Elation, and it gives no Energy regeneration whatsoever, which slows down her Ultimate rotation and makes a steady Ultimate cadence harder to maintain.
