Should You Pull for Silver Wolf LV.999?

Main DPS

Silver Wolf LV.999 is an Imaginary damage dealer on the Elation Path, and nearly all of her damage is Elation DMG. Instead of Energy, she builds up Hidden MMR. At 60 points she can use her Ultimate to enter the Godmode Player state and fire off 3 Enhanced Basic ATKs that bounce across the whole field. She is worth pulling at any level of investment.

She suits you best if you already have Yao Guang and Sparxie, since both of them give her a lot. She is at her best next to other Elation characters, but until you have them she still works with Trailblazer (Elation) and Asta.

Memory of Chaos Outstanding Her Elation DMG is very high, and she is immune to Crowd Control debuffs for the whole time she is in the Godmode Player state.
Pure Fiction Outstanding Her Enhanced Basic ATK bounces all over the field, and if every enemy dies midway, the attack pauses and picks up again when the next wave arrives, so no hits go to waste.
Apocalyptic Shadow Outstanding She deals nonstop damage, and her Top Loot Box can roll Big Flipping Sword for extra True DMG on the enemy with the highest HP.

Best Silver Wolf LV.999 Build Guide

Standard Silver Wolf LV.999 Build

Silver Wolf LV.999's Elation DMG scales with her SPD, so get SPD first and CRIT stats after that. The Planar Sphere and Link Rope barely affect her damage.

Best Light Cones

  • 1 Welcome to the Cosmic City Welcome to the Cosmic City Best
Her signature Light Cone and the hardest one to replace. It is the only DPS Light Cone that gives her SPD, which makes reaching 200 SPD much easier. Her Elation DMG also ignores 20% of the enemy's DEF, and after using her Ultimate she gains 20 extra Punchline, which means 20 extra Hidden MMR.
  • 2 A Little Getaway A Little Getaway Great
Her best 4-star Light Cone. It raises her Elation DMG and lets her Elation Skill ignore enemy DEF.
  • 3 Today's Good Luck Today's Good Luck Good
The Battle Pass Light Cone. At S5 it gives 20% CRIT Rate and 40% Elation. The downside is that it has no SPD, so the high SPD breakpoints are hard to reach, and it doesn't give her Punchline right after her Ultimate.
  • 4 Mushy Shroomy's Adventures Mushy Shroomy's Adventures Easy to get
Easy to get. It raises her Elation DMG, and after she uses her Elation Skill, enemies take more Elation DMG. That effect stacks if several teammates equip this Light Cone. With Sparxie on the team, it is about as good as Today's Good Luck.
  • 5 Tomorrow, Together Tomorrow, Together Stopgap
A 4-star stopgap. It raises her CRIT DMG and boosts the whole team's Elation after she uses her Ultimate.

Best Relics

1
Her best set. The 2-piece bonus gives CRIT DMG, and the 4-piece bonus lets her Elation DMG ignore 20% DEF, which stacks nicely with her signature Light Cone.
2
The second choice. It gives SPD, plus CRIT Rate when she meets the SPD requirement. It is worth using when the extra SPD lets her fit in 1 more turn, even if a teammate already wears this set.

Best Planar Ornaments

1
The top pick. It gives 8% Elation and up to 32% CRIT DMG. The set needs her to reach 80% Elation, which she hits easily with enough SPD or with Elation buffs from teammates.
2
A fine stand-in thanks to its CRIT Rate. She gets almost nothing out of the ATK part.

Main Stats

  • BodyCRIT Rate
  • FeetSPD
  • Planar SphereHP% or DEF%
  • Link RopeHP% or DEF%

Substats

  • 1SPD
  • 2CRIT Rate
  • 3CRIT DMG
  • 4HP% or DEF%

CRIT Rate on the body, and SPD boots are a must. Since she mostly deals Elation DMG, the Planar Sphere and Link Rope stats don't matter much for her damage, so go HP% or DEF% to make her tankier.

SPD always comes first. CRIT DMG can sit a little behind CRIT Rate, because once her CRIT Rate hits 100%, the extra Hidden MMR turns into CRIT DMG on its own.

Stat Targets

  • SPD160 to 200+, aim above 200 with her signature Light Cone
  • CRIT Rate80% to 90%, or 84% to 92%
  • CRIT DMG80% to 100%, the closer to 100% the better

Skill Priority

Basic ATK > Ultimate = Talent > Elation Skill > Skill

Level the Basic ATK first, because it also raises the damage of her Enhanced Basic ATK. The Ultimate raises the damage of her Top Loot Boxes, and the Talent raises how much CRIT she gets from Hidden MMR. The Elation Skill comes after those two, and the Skill goes last.

Trace Priority

False Ending Speedrun (A2) > Secret Level Maxed (A6) > True Ending Unlocked (A4)

False Ending Speedrun matters most: at 160 SPD or higher her Elation goes up by 50%, and every point of SPD above that adds 2% more, counting up to 100 excess SPD. Secret Level Maxed gives 20 Hidden MMR as soon as she enters the Godmode Player state. True Ending Unlocked gives 20 extra Hidden MMR when her Elation Skill counts 20 or more Punchline, and another 20 on top of that at 40 or more.

Eidolon Priority

E2 is the best value

Get her signature Light Cone before E1, and only take E1 if you plan to go on to E2. E1 makes enemies in her Zone take 20% more DMG and keeps 20% of her Hidden MMR when she leaves the Godmode Player state. E2 extends all her buffs by 1 turn when she enters the state, and for every 120 Hidden MMR she gains, she gets 1 extra turn and 1 more use of Enhanced Basic ATK. To get the full value of E2 you need to reach 240 Hidden MMR, which is quite hard without strong teammates.

Best Silver Wolf LV.999 Teams

Best Elation Team

Replace Yao Guang with: Sparkle, Tribbie Replace Pearl with: Huohuo, Hyacine, Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

Sparxie is the best Punchline generator right now, and she can roll the Top Loot Box chance several times, for 2 to 3 Top Loot Boxes per Elation Skill on average. The Top Loot Boxes recover Skill Points, which lets Sparxie generate even more Punchline, so the two keep feeding each other. Yao Guang boosts Elation DMG a lot and gives Hidden MMR in bursts, since you control when her Ultimate goes off. Pearl has buffs made for Elation teams, and her Ultimate gives an instant 60 Hidden MMR.

Team with Trailblazer (Elation)

Replace Pearl with: Huohuo

If you don't have Sparxie, Trailblazer (Elation) takes her spot. The Trailblazer generates Punchline, adds CRIT DMG with the Ultimate and hands out Certified Banger directly, so Silver Wolf LV.999 doesn't run out of Certified Banger before she finishes her Enhanced Basic ATKs.

Team with Trailblazer (Elation) and Asta

An easier team to put together if you don't have Yao Guang or Sparxie yet. Trailblazer (Elation) takes care of Punchline and Certified Banger. Asta raises the whole team's SPD, and Silver Wolf LV.999 turns that SPD into Elation. Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae shields the team and gives her a summon for extra damage, even though she gets no use out of his ATK buff.

Best Teammates for Silver Wolf LV.999

Yao Guang
Yao Guang

An all-round support for Elation teams: she buffs Elation, gives 20% All-Type RES PEN and makes enemies take 16% more DMG. You control when her Ultimate goes off, so she can feed Hidden MMR at the right moment and help Silver Wolf LV.999 enter her Godmode Player state sooner.

Sparxie
Sparxie

The two help each other both ways. The Zone triggers Top Loot Boxes when Skill Points are spent, Sparxie can roll that chance several times, and the Top Loot Boxes recover Skill Points that she turns into more Punchline. Sparxie also raises the team's CRIT DMG by 80%.

Trailblazer (Elation)
Trailblazer (Elation)

Generates Punchline, gives 50% CRIT DMG with the Ultimate, provides Certified Banger and makes Silver Wolf LV.999 use her Elation Skill one extra time.

Pearl
Pearl

A sustain built for Elation teams. Her Ultimate gives an instant 60 Hidden MMR, enough for Silver Wolf LV.999 to use her Ultimate or reach a higher CRIT threshold.

Asta
Asta

Her Ultimate gives the whole team 53 SPD, which turns into a lot of Elation. With Dance! Dance! Dance! equipped, the team also gets extra actions.

Sparkle
Sparkle

Can take the support slot, bringing plenty of offensive buffs and advancing Silver Wolf LV.999's action.

Tribbie
Tribbie

Can take the support slot. She gives RES PEN, and with Dance! Dance! Dance! she advances the whole team's action.

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

Huohuo

Can replace Pearl. She heals, cleanses debuffs and restores Energy for the team.

Hyacine
Hyacine

Can replace Pearl. She raises the team's Max HP, heals and cleanses debuffs.

How to Play Silver Wolf LV.999

Build Hidden MMR to Enter the Godmode Player State

Silver Wolf LV.999 doesn't use Energy. Each time she gains Punchline, she gains the same amount of Hidden MMR. At 60 Hidden MMR she can use her Ultimate, and Hidden MMR can keep overflowing up to a max of 300. Her Skill gives 5 Punchline, and her Elation Skill outside the Godmode Player state deals no damage but gives a flat 15 Hidden MMR. Every point of Hidden MMR also raises her CRIT Rate, and once CRIT Rate reaches 100%, the rest goes into CRIT DMG instead. When she leaves the Godmode Player state, her Hidden MMR is cleared.

3 Enhanced Basic ATKs

Her Ultimate advances her action by 100% and puts her in the Godmode Player state: she is immune to Crowd Control debuffs and gets an Enhanced Basic ATK and an Enhanced Elation Skill. Each Enhanced Basic ATK is split into 100 bounces on random enemies, triggers Top Loot Box 3 times along the way, then ends with a Final Hit on all enemies. It does not recover Skill Points. For every 60 Hidden MMR she holds, this attack deals an extra 15% of its original DMG, stacking up to 2 times, so the cap is reached at 120. After 3 uses she leaves the state.

While she holds Certified Banger, all of her Enhanced Basic ATK damage is converted into Elation DMG. If every enemy dies midway, the attack pauses, and when the next wave enters she gets 1 extra turn to finish the remaining bounces.

The Zone and Top Loot Box

In the Godmode Player state she deploys a Zone. While she holds Certified Banger, each time an ally in the Zone spends 1 Skill Point, there is a chance to trigger 1 Top Loot Box: it deals Elation DMG split evenly among all enemies and rolls 1 of 3 effects. Big Flipping Sword deals extra True DMG equal to 20% of the total DMG dealt that time to the enemy with the highest HP, Kaboom Eggsplosion recovers 2 Skill Points, and Funky Munch Bean gives 3 Punchline.

The first trigger is guaranteed, and after each success the next chance drops to 20% of the current one. Her Enhanced Elation Skill, Honkai-DMG Demo, hits random enemies 6 times and then resets that chance to its starting value, so use it to open more Top Loot Boxes.

SPD Is Her Most Important Stat

The False Ending Speedrun trace gives her 50% Elation at 160 SPD or higher, and every point of SPD above that adds 2% more, counting up to 100 excess SPD. That is why you should aim for the breakpoints from 160 to 200 SPD or more. With her signature Light Cone, try to go past 200 for the best damage.

Quick Tips

  • Don't chase 100% CRIT Rate: Hidden MMR covers what you are missing, and any excess turns into CRIT DMG on its own.
  • Use Pearl's Ultimate on Yao Guang instead of Silver Wolf LV.999, so Silver Wolf LV.999 still gets the Hidden MMR without being pushed out of her Godmode Player state early.
  • Asta's Ultimate can't be stretched to 3 turns by casting it on Silver Wolf LV.999's turn, because her turn plays out automatically.
  • Turn on her Technique so Funky Munch Bean clears Normal Enemies on the map for you, and in combat it triggers 1 Top Loot Box at the start of each wave.
  • Just owning Silver Wolf LV.999, even without bringing her, gives your team Crowd Control protection: when an enemy inflicts Crowd Control on an ally, the whole team becomes immune to Crowd Control for 1 turn, once per wave.

Silver Wolf LV.999 FAQ

Is Silver Wolf LV.999 worth pulling?
Yes, at any level of investment. She deals excellent damage in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow, and she gets much stronger if you have Yao Guang and Sparxie.
Should I get E1 or her signature Light Cone first?
Her signature Light Cone first, since it gives SPD and makes her much easier to build. Only take E1 if you plan to go on to E2, because E2 is a bigger upgrade than the signature Light Cone.
What Light Cone should Silver Wolf LV.999 use without her signature?
A Little Getaway is her best 4-star option. Today's Good Luck and Mushy Shroomy's Adventures also work well.
How much SPD does Silver Wolf LV.999 need?
At least 160 to activate False Ending Speedrun, then work your way up toward 200. With her signature Light Cone, go above 200.
Does Silver Wolf LV.999 need Energy?
No. Her Ultimate uses Hidden MMR and needs 60 points, which she gets from Punchline and from her Elation Skill.
