Bajiquan
[BASIC]Deals Quantum DMG equal to 140% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK to one designated enemy.
Rin Tohsaka is a Quantum Erudition character with two ways to play: as a Sub-DPS for Archer, or as a Main DPS who puts her damage into her Skill. Next to Archer, she recovers extra Skill Points, shares a huge ATK boost with him and launches a Joint Follow-Up ATK with him that hits every enemy. If you already have a well-built Archer, Rin is well worth pulling.
She fits players who own Archer and have put a lot into him. At E0 she has almost no place outside Archer teams, so if you want her as a Main DPS, plan for her E1 and for Cerydra.
Rin is designed to play alongside Archer. In this build she needs SPD so she gets a turn between Archer's attacks to reset their Joint Follow-Up ATK, and Energy so her Ultimate comes up often to raise the DMG enemies take.

SPD boots and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope let Rin act fast enough and get her Ultimate sooner, so enemies take more DMG. On the sphere, Quantum DMG Boost is the main choice, but ATK% also works.
Get enough SPD first, then push CRIT Rate as close to 100% as you can for steady damage. Rin already gets some CRIT DMG from her Traces, so substats cover the rest.
Level the first three early. Her Talent raises the CRIT DMG she gives allies and the damage of her Joint Follow-Up ATK with Archer. Her Ultimate deals damage and raises how much extra DMG enemies take. Basic ATK only adds damage, so leave it for last.
All three matter. Elegant Conduct raises the Skill Point limit by 2 and gives Rin 150% ATK and 15% Quantum RES PEN, and Archer gets the same if he is in the team. Ladylike Poise gives her 20% SPD for 3 turns, and Inbound Prosperity gives her 12 extra Gem Energy each time she uses her Ultimate.
E2 raises Rin's Skill DMG by 30%, and while she is on the field, Skill DMG dealt by all allies becomes 130% of the normal amount, Archer's Skill included. E4 lets the CRIT DMG boost from her Talent stack up to 2 times on Rin herself, which is also a solid damage increase.
Rin can also carry a team without Archer, putting her damage into her Enhanced Skill. This playstyle gets much better with her E1 and Cerydra.

As a Main DPS, take ATK% on the boots and rope to push her damage, since she does not need Energy Regeneration Rate here. Quantum DMG Boost is the main sphere, and ATK% also works.
Push CRIT Rate as close to 100% as you can for steady damage. Her Traces already give her some CRIT DMG.
Level her Talent, Ultimate and Skill early, since all three raise Rin's damage. Leave Basic ATK for last.
Same order as the Sub-DPS build. Ladylike Poise also triggers again every time she uses her Enhanced Skill, so it is easy to keep up for the whole fight.
With E1, when one Enhanced Skill consumes 30 or more Gem Energy, Rin gains the same amount of Shadow Gem. Her next Enhanced Skill uses up all the Shadow Gem, does not consume Gem Energy and does not convert Skill Points into Gem Energy, which lets her use her Enhanced Skill almost every turn. E6 is a huge jump: 20% All-Type RES PEN, plus 24 Gem Energy and 1 extra turn after her Ultimate, so she can fire an Enhanced Skill right away.
Rin shares her ATK boost and Quantum RES PEN with Archer and raises the Skill Point limit by 2. When Archer attacks with 3 or fewer Skill Points left, the two of them launch a Joint Follow-Up ATK on all enemies that recovers 4 Skill Points, enough for Archer to keep firing. Sparkle provides Skill Points for the team and advances Archer's turn. Any sustain works in the last slot, and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae gives both shields and ATK.
If you are new and do not have many limited characters yet, Rin can still play Sub-DPS for Archer. Trailblazer (Remembrance) helps Archer deal extra damage, and Natasha keeps the team alive.
Without Archer, Rin carries the damage herself with her Enhanced Skill. Sparkle is still here for Skill Points and turn advance. Cerydra is a great fit because she lets Rin use her Enhanced Skill twice. Huohuo restores Energy and buffs ATK. You can swap one support for Robin • Summeretto, Tribbie or Trailblazer (Remembrance).
Her partner that nobody can replace. Rin gives him 150% ATK and 15% Quantum RES PEN, more CRIT DMG through her Talent, and a Joint Follow-Up ATK that recovers 4 Skill Points, which makes the team play smoothly even on auto.
Rin's best support. Sparkle's Ultimate recovers Skill Points, which also feeds Gem Energy to Rin, and her Skill advances allies' turns.
The key to the Main DPS playstyle. With careful planning, Cerydra can duplicate one of Rin's high-stack Enhanced Skills without it consuming Gem Energy.
Boosts Rin's and Archer's ATK, gives Energy, advances turns and helps the team ignore part of the enemy's DEF.
Gives shields and ATK, and fits both the Archer team and the Rin Main DPS team.
Buffs the whole team's ATK and restores Energy, so she works in both team styles.
The best 4-star sustain for Rin: he heals and leaves the team with spare Skill Points.
Gives RES PEN, and with Dance! Dance! Dance! she can advance the whole team.
Helps the Main DPS deal extra damage and advances their turn, a good pick for newer players who do not have many supports yet.
Rin starts every fight with 20 Gem Energy. Whenever anyone on your team consumes or recovers 1 Skill Point, she gains 1 more. Once she has 15 or more, or your team has 7 or more Skill Points, her Skill becomes Second Magic Experiment.
The Enhanced Skill hits all enemies, then spends 3 Gem Energy at a time to bounce an extra hit onto a random enemy, up to 33 times. If you have more than 2 Skill Points when she uses it, she consumes them down to 2 and gains 2 Gem Energy for each one. The more you store up, the harder this attack hits.
After Archer uses Caladbolg II: Fake Spiral Sword, if there are 3 or fewer Skill Points left, or he has used it 5 times during his current Circuit Connection state, Rin and Archer launch a Joint Follow-Up ATK on all enemies and recover 4 Skill Points. It can only trigger once, and resets when Rin's turn ends. That is why Rin needs enough SPD to get a turn between Archer's attack rounds.
Her Ultimate hits one target hard, also hits the other enemies, recovers 1 Skill Point and makes all enemies take more DMG for 3 turns. It costs 160 Energy, so it does not come up very often, which is why the Sub-DPS build wants Energy Regeneration Rate. With the Inbound Prosperity Trace, each Ultimate also gives her 12 Gem Energy.
Rin already enters combat with 20 Gem Energy, which is above 15, so her Skill is enhanced from the very start. Her Technique, Conversion Charge, adds 10 more at the start of the next battle, so her first Enhanced Skill bounces more times.
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 140% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK to one designated enemy.
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 225% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK to one designated enemy.
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 750% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK to one designated enemy, and Quantum DMG equal to 250% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK to other enemy targets. When used, recovers 1 Skill Point(s) for allies, and increases the DMG taken by all enemies by 25%, lasting for 3 turn(s).
When entering combat, gains 20 “Gem Energy.” When an ally target consumes or recovers Skill Points, increases their CRIT DMG by 88% for 2 turn(s). For every 1 Skill Point consumed or recovered, Rin Tohsaka gains 1 “Gem Energy.” If Rin Tohsaka holds 15 or more “Gem Energy,” or if the current Skill Points are 7 or more, her Skill is enhanced to “Second Magic Experiment.”
After using Technique, gains 10 “Gem Energy” at the start of the next battle.
After Archer uses his Skill “Caladbolg II: Fake Spiral Sword” to attack, if Skill Points are 3 or fewer or if “Caladbolg II: Fake Spiral Sword” has been actively used 5 times during the current “Circuit Connection” state, and the Joint Follow-Up ATK from “Freeform Tohsaka Style” has not been triggered, Rin Tohsaka and Archer will launch Joint Follow-Up ATK on all enemies, dealing Quantum DMG equal to 375% of Rin Tohsaka’s ATK and 375% of Archer’s ATK respectively, and recovering 4 Skill Point(s) for allies. This Joint Follow-Up ATK can only trigger once. The trigger count resets when Rin Tohsaka’s turn ends.
If one instance of the Enhanced Skill consumes 30 or more “Gem Energy,” Rin Tohsaka gains “Shadow Gem” equal to the amount of “Gem Energy” consumed.
While holding “Shadow Gem,” enhances Skill to “Second Magic Experiment.” The Enhanced Skill consumes all “Shadow Gem,” does not trigger the effect that converts Skill Points into “Gem Energy,” and does not consume “Gem Energy.”
Rin Tohsaka’s Skill DMG dealt increases by 30%. While Rin Tohsaka is on the field, Skill DMG dealt by all allies becomes 130% of the original DMG.

Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Rin Tohsaka’s All-Type RES PEN increases by 20%. When using Ultimate, gains 24 “Gem Energy” and 1 extra turn.
