Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Excellent and consistent shielding
  • Gives the whole team great resistance to crowd control and debuffs
  • Extremely Skill Point positive and flexible
  • Absurd amounts of Toughness damage from his Ultimate and follow-up attacks
  • The best sustain unit for follow-up attack teams

Cons

  • The debuff from his Ultimate only affects a single target
  • Fairly flat damage and offensive presence
  • Relies on enemies attacking in AoE constantly (or on ally follow-up attacks) to refresh his shields
  • Weak against enemies that only focus on his other allies

Best Aventurine Build Guide

Shield Support Build

Stat Targets

  • DEF 4000
  • SPD 134 or higher

Your top priority is getting Aventurine to 4000 DEF, which lets him gain the full 48% base CRIT Rate in combat. Aventurine should also have at least 134 SPD so he can act twice in a cycle.

Once DEF and SPD are covered, you can push his damage with CRIT DMG and Imaginary DMG.

Aventurine does not need Effect RES from Relics to trigger Broken Keel, because he can meet that requirement himself thanks to the Effect RES buff from his Skill.
