March 7th (The Hunt)

March 7th (The Hunt) can be built as a textbook CRIT DPS with CRIT stats. March uses Musketeer of Wild Wheat and Rutilant Arena to raise her Basic ATK DMG.

If you go with this build, it is ideal to pair March with a character on the Path of Erudition, Path of Destruction, or Path of the Hunt.

March 7th (The Hunt) needs at least 70% CRIT Rate to trigger Rutilant Arena.

For March 7th (The Hunt)’s SPD, you can pick 124 SPD, because she gains extra SPD from E1, which brings March up to the 134 SPD breakpoint.

High SPD is not a hard requirement for this build, because the main DPS paired with March is ideally the type that uses Basic ATK often or fires their Ultimate frequently. That way the main DPS also gives March 7th more actions by triggering her passive.

March 7th (The Hunt)’s flexible kit also lets her be built as a Break DPS. Ideally you pair March with a Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, or Abundance character with high SPD or constant Ultimate spam to get the most out of her Toughness reduction. This is not mandatory though, as long as March or the character next to her has enough SPD to attack often.

Prioritize Break Effect substats along with SPD, because most of March’s damage in this build comes from Break DMG, and high SPD gives her more turns. You do not need to drop CRIT entirely, since March can still put out a decent amount of damage.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is her best Relic set, because it provides Break Effect and lets March’s Break DMG ignore part of the target’s DEF. Right now we do not have many Break Effect sets, so you can use Talia or Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern if you are facing enemies with a Fire Weakness.

Focus on Break Effect substats and still keep a bit of CRIT on your Relics. Since March 7th (The Hunt)’s Enhanced Basic ATK still benefits from CRIT, having decent CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG is great even when you build her as a Break DPS.

For March 7th (The Hunt)’s SPD , if you are running Talia, try to reach 135 SPD, because March’s E1 pushes her SPD to 145, exactly enough to meet Talia’s condition. You can also build higher, for example 150 SPD, to reach the 160 SPD breakpoint.
