Playstyle overview

Hysilens is a damage dealer who can deal extra instances of DoT based on how many DoTs the target already has. At the same time, she can keep inflicting several kinds of DoT on the enemies, and she can apply debuffs such as reduced ATK, reduced DEF, and Grievous Wound to them.

Best Hysilens Build Guide

Hysilens DPS Build

Stat Targets

  • Effect Hit Rate 120%
  • ATK 3600 (in combat)
  • SPD 135+ / 129 if using the Light Cone Why Does the Ocean Sing
  • SPD 1 SPD faster than Kafka

Hysilens is strongest when built as a DoT DPS, prioritizing ATK and Effect Hit Rate.

Since her entire kit revolves around damage over time, Prisoner in Deep Confinement combined with Revelry by the Sea is the optimal setup for raising her overall damage in the DPS role.

Hysilens needs at least 120% Effect Hit Rate to get the full DMG boost from the “Pearl Zither Strings” Trace. She also needs 3600 ATK to receive the full DoT DMG bonus from the Revelry by the Sea Planar Ornament set.

Hysilens should have at least 135 SPD to gain extra turns in a cycle, or be 1 SPD faster than Kafka. The 135 SPD target is still better though, because it leaves you room for ATK% substats, which raises her damage.

If you own Why Does the Ocean Sing, you can set Hysilens at 129 SPD, since the remaining SPD comes from the Light Cone.
