The bracelet of the bassist Sid, braided from the ribbon bands of the tours, with a few lines of lyrics written on it.
With a handful of powerful, pioneering songs, the Sizzling Thunder band of Emerald-III quickly stirred up fierce feelings across the whole planet.
The sparks of thunder born when the rhythm guitarist Dave struck his strings hard marked the beginning of the tour, and the fans took them as the only light for the rest of their lives.
The band's tours were all kept going spontaneously by the fans, who handed out silk bands as identification at the venue entrances. Most of these music lovers could not afford the high cost of escape, and resigned themselves to a fate of waiting for the electromagnetic blast. But from the moment they saw those rebellious young people return to the planet, they felt their souls catch fire. On their bracelets they recorded lyrics, recorded the date of every performance, and recorded their own quiet weeping as well.
The bassist Sid collected a ribbon band from every tour, had his girlfriend Nancy braid them into a bracelet, and wore it at all times.
“No meaning, no direction, nowhere else to go, we have no future.” Our Road, a single from the Sizzling Thunder band's second album, and Sid's creed for living.
